Incredible property, amazing staff and fantastic staff. I wish our stay was longer but I will be back

We booked this lodge because Rand water had shut down water in the city for the weekend and discovered an absolute gem! The staff were marvellous and patient in in assisting us with a last minute booking. The home is gorgeous, well thought out and has beautiful views of the river. We arrived with no supplies, so had our first supper and breakfast at the restaurant. The food was good. The ambience, staff and views of river and animals made our day! The next morning,we saw a playful elephant herd with several youngsters and a tiny baby, hippo mom and calf, antelope and a massive herd of gambolling buffalo all from out veranda before breakfast. Kruger gate is minutes away, so we took a leisurely game drive and on our way home called in at Skukuza rest camp. where we bought good quality supplies and self catered for the rest of the weekend. The house has every convenience and beautiful entertainment areas. The boma fire was a highlight! There is also the option to receive Woolworth deliveries before arrival. Outr three nights ended too quickly and we would love to return for a longer stay. The drive to Elephants Point form Gauteng is reasonable and MIlly's Trout Stall and Joubert and Seuns Padstal are pleasant pit stops.

We had the most amazing stay at Umganu Lodge at Elephant Point. The lodge is beautiful—stylish, super comfortable, and set in such a peaceful spot overlooking the Sabie River. It really felt like a home away from home, but with the added bonus of wildlife all around us! The staff were all super helpful and couldn't do enough for us. One of the best parts was being able to watch elephants and other animals from the deck—absolutely surreal. The whole place is designed for relaxing, and every detail was so well thought out. We loved the open spaces, the pool, and sitting by the fire in the evenings under the stars. It was such a special holiday and would highly recommend. Hopefully, we'll be back!

The perfect get away for a big crowd, the lodges great comfort and amenities. I recommend at least a five day stay for maximum use and total relaxation and experience. Short drive to Kruger and Skukuza Our guide was Goodman Nkuna, very informative guide. We will be back here for sure.

Close to the Kruger gate. Can enjoy staying at the lodge during the day. Can go to the Boma if you wish to.
