A break from the city with stunning sunsets. The chalet overlooks the mountains. The one-bedroom unit is comfortable for a couple. A huge kitchen with all the amenities. A small lounge area with a cozy fireplace was perfect for the cold weather. The braai area was on the patio overlooking the forest with the most stunning sunsets. The resort has swimming pools, a jacuzzi (a small fee is applicable), and a small shop. There are a few hiking trails that you can go on. You will spot some wildlife on the trail as well. Overall the resort is great for a quiet break in the mountains with stunning views.

Crystal Springs is an amazing lodge. The facilities are great. The staff is friendly. The view is what you need to relax and take a break from the busy city life. The roads to the Lodge can get very tricky so be prepare but overall I would highly recommend the lodge to go relax and unwind.

Great resort for a family holiday with both activities for children and adults as well as sightseeing in close proximity to the resort.

We spent a few days in one of the apartments as a family. The place is lovely and staff are friendly. The only disappointment is that the indoor heated pool is for adults only, although my husband and I spent some time in the jacuzzi which was wonderful. Also disappointed in the outdoor play area for kids, there was very little offered. Games room needs an update, it was quite basic. The mini golf was lots of fun though! Restaurant has very good food and large portions. The unit is well stocked, but I recommend taking your own mugs as the ones offered are very small! The shop is also basic so rather take what you need. We got to see lots of animals just driving around in the resort including Wildebeest, Zebra and Jackals.

What a fantastic family getaway, peaceful and relaxing. great dive through a little town called pilgrims rest with lots of history.

The 4 hiking trails are stunning! Accommodation and facilities very comfortable. The road between Dullstroom and Lydenburg/Mashishing has been redone eventually..
