Simbavati made our safari experience better than we could ever imagine. Staffed with the most incredible and friendly people, our stay was immaculate from start to finish. Of course safari was the highlight - our tracker and our guide were amazing beyond words. It felt like they spoke the language of the animals and were able to find us some of the best sightings I could have ever fathomed. We saw all of the Big 5 and more. Back at Simbavati before/after safari, the staff are so friendly and want to pamper you. The food and drinks are delicious, service is pristine, and facility is clean and exciting. Room ("tent") also is excellent, bed is comfy, water pressure in shower is impressive! There are even wildlife sightings at the resort - elephants joined us at breakfast!

This was an amazing dream vacation and thanks to Chrina, Alison and Humphrey and T.J. For making it better than I could have ever imagined. The luxury tents were so comfortable and the food was so good. The game drives were spectacular. Can’t wait to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the River Lodge. Every game drive was a new adventure. Saw the big 5 and more. The skill of our driver and tracker was extraordinary. We often went off road in search of the animals we were tracking. Wildlife were often near the lodge making meal times a visual treat. Our tent was in the unfenced section where elephants and other wildlife delighted us with their visits. Could not fault the staff, very friendly and attentive, our mealtime butler looked after our every need.

Great location, great food and safari. Everyone very very friendly. Recent renovations have greatly improved the lodge. The staff very kindly made a birthday cake for our sun and sang birthday songs. We had some great sightings of a leopard in a tree wearing an impala with a hyena underneath catching the scraps.

We travelled to Simbavati in late March coinciding with a family wedding. The safari tours were magnificent.

We had a 4 night stay and went on 6 game drives. The knowledge of the driver Clement and spotter Aubrey was first class, we loved every minute. The Sundowner stops were also enjoyable. The food and service were also first class.

We went to Simbavati River Lodge for our honeymoon. We had an incredible game drives with our guide Ali and tracker Humphrey. They were both incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and fun. The highlight of our drives was having a leopard jump from a tree, walk right past our car, and then we followed it through the bush as it walked to have a drink. The service while at the lodge was spectacular. The braii was a great experience with amazing food, and Bishop was the kindest waiter. You will not be disappointed with your stay here!

Visited in Feb with our two daughters Fantastic stay, everything was perfect. Staff, food, cleanliness, rooms, game drives, all perfect. What an amazing place, wouldn't hesitate to recommend or return. Special mention to Obedience, Marti the guide and Happy the ranger, all made our birthday trip very special.
