All the meals were TERRIBLE. We did a guided drive of 2000 ZAR for two of us was badly done- guide kept stalling the car and didn’t speak English well. Location is okay, nice views of river and hippos. Very basic in many ways.

Sabie River Bush Lodge was an amazing place for an unforgettable safari experience. We loved our cozy lodge with a pool and the beautiful river where hippos were hanging out—it felt truly special. The food was fantastic; we enjoyed some delicious local South African meals, and the dessert was just as incredible. Plus, the prices were very reasonable. The best part, however, was the staff—they were absolutely amazing! Always smiling, kind, and full of positive energy. We loved them all! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. The safari tour, organized by the lodge, was beyond incredible. We spent two days on safari with our guide and driver, Mister Lion, who made the experience truly unique. He knew exactly where to go, and thanks to his expertise, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five multiple times! It was an unforgettable adventure, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Thank you for everything!🦁

The Sabie river bush lodge it’s a wonderful place to rest with the sounds of the animals of the Kruger Park. They had a problem with our room before we get there and the solution was kindly and easy. Thank you Candice for that and for the surprise in our room! We will be back ❤️

Had the most wonderful stay at this lodge. We booked the Rhino package and it was all so easy and smooth, Candice arranged for us to be collected at the airport and everything was perfectly organised! We went on our first evening drive with an external guide, while we did see lions and a leopard on this drive, the second day with France from the Sabie Lodge was far more special. He was so informative about the park and each animal that we saw, whether it was big or small! It was a really special day! After long drives it was so nice to come back to the lodge and relax on the terrace while watching the hippos and elephants with fantastic food and service from the team. I would highly recommend this if you want an easy safari trip - we only stayed 2 nights but wished we stayed for longer! Overall it was fantastic value for money and the service was top notch!

We spent two nights here as part of our visit to the Kruger National Park. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We had an amazing room in a rondavel. The location overlooking the Sabie River, with its colony of Hippos was very special. Couldn't recommend it enough,

The cabins are right on the Riverside. A wonderful place to just relaxe and watch hippos and birds galore. There was cheaper accommodation nearby but, sabie river bush lodge is perfect.
