Well run lodge, with enthusiastic, kind, welcoming and efficient staff. Our cottage consisted of bedroom, huge bathroom, and lounge; outdoor shower and plunge pool overlooking a stream and clearing, making armchair game viewing easy. Our guide Marcel was most informative and he was ably assisted by tracker Hector who could even spot a chameleon for us. The food was excellent both in presentation and quality. The decor could have done with a bit of a tart up but it appears that the Kruger Park is dragging its heels in finalising the concession.

When it was time to leave Lukimbi we did not want to go. We were worried anyplace else would be disappointing. Lukimbi checks all the boxes for a luxury safari experience

We thought Lukimbi was perfect. My wife and I consider ourselves reasonably well travelled Canadians and have attended four different safari lodges in two different countries. Lukimbi gets our nod for being the best. Wonderful lodging, excellent food, and the best service that we could ever ask for. Our guide, Duan, was better than superb. His genuine enthusiasm brought the bush to life and outperformed even the naturalists we enjoyed on the Galapagos Islands. All of this was provided in a luxurious setting but in a charming, almost family-like atmosphere which is so hard to achieve in a small business. Bravo to all of you at Lukimbi - you have something very special going on that I very much hope can be continued for a very long time.

We went to Lukimbi for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint! Everyone there were so friendly and they were just amazing to us both and really couldn't do enough for us! Conneth and Sipho (our ranger and tracker) were such a good pair the knowledge they both have combined is incredible, we saw 4 of the big 5 thanks to there brilliant tracking skills. The lodge speaks for itself really, its even prettier in person which may be hard to believe. The food was delicious and we had different choices everyday, I can't say it was the highlight of the holiday because obviously the animals... buts its up there. P.S you have to try one of Benjamín's Mango Daiquiris
