We stayed for one night, took a room with a view of the river, we were greeted very warmly, everything in the room was for a comfortable stay, and in the evening there was a delicious dinner. The hotel is located right next to the gate which is very convenient. We left early in the morning and were given breakfast to take with us.

We loved every minute of our 5-night stay at the Crocodile Bridge Safari Lodge, just a few hundred meters away from the Kruger’s entrance gate. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We spent hours sitting in the garden and watching the animals pass by just outside the fence – elephants, impala, hippos and even lions at night. The staff is friendly and kind, and the food is good. Our safari experience was also amazing – Dylan is an excellent guide and a very nice person. Simply perfect!

We arrived as guests but left as family. What a beautiful and intimate lodge. We had a fantastic 3 night stay at this wonderful lodge. I was wondering why I was unable to find any photos of the food but now I know why. The food is so delicious that you can't focus on anything else but every bite you take. Hence, I myself didn't take any photos either 🤦♀️. We were fortunate to meet both managing couples. They are so welcoming and friendly. The staff at Croc Bridge Safari Lodge are all wonderful. The culture of this lodge is unique and rare. It is truly a special place in every way. We can't wait to go back!

We stayed 6 nights in this little gem of a place. The staff were all so friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay a memorable one. They were brilliant and went out of their way to accommodate us. Food was plentiful and extremely tasty and varied. Ribs and steak on the braai were cooked to perfection. Lovely chats round the fire before and after dinner. Outlook and setting is incredible. Gets really chilly this time of year. Bring PJ's, hat, gloves and coat would be my only tip. Days are hot but nights and early game drives are brrrrrrrrrr Cant wait to come back. Thank you.

The food and variety of food were delicious. The van den Berg manager team made us feel very welcome. They spoilt my husband on his 70th birthday with specially made birthday cards, balloons, a bottle of wine and dessert. Their friendly care of all the guests, were noticeable. Sitting around a lovely outside fire at night to enjoy the tranquil surroundings, was special.

The staff was super friendly and kind, and did everything that was in their hands to accommodate our needs. The tent was big and clean, with a deck with astonishing views to the river. We saw 8 hippos, 2 elephants and plenty of antilopes on the first night from the deck The dinner and breakfast served were generous and very tasty. Prime location, we will repeat if we are back in Kruger. Be aware that you are in the nature, you shouldn't mind having frogs as your pets :)

We loved it - from the gorgeous view to the wildlife at your doorstep, to the staff, the food and the communal eating. The whole experience was wonderful. It felt very secure there too. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will remember our time there always.
