An EXCEPTIONAL experience all around!! The accommodations were comfortable, elegant and immaculately clean. Michael, our safari guide, was friendly, fun and incredibly knowledgeable, resulting in an amazing safari experience seeing the Big 5 as well as many other animals. And when we were on our bush walk, he even talked down a bull elephant who charged us – EPIC! The food was outstanding both at the facility and on safaris. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Leopard Hills for a superb safari experience!

This was top notch all the way. Our tour guide Morne, was knowledgeable and passionate about the reserve. We saw every animal on our list and much more. We also took advantage of a walk with Morne and loved learning more about Sabi Sands and the plants and animals that inhabit the Reserve. The food was fantastic and well prepared. We had wonderful choices and there was enough variety to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Our room had a gorgeous view of the valley and we enjoyed our morning coffee watching the elephants and other animals at the pond below. Megs and the entire team went out of their way to ensure our comfort and cater to our every need. This was a bucket list trip and we were not disappointed!

We have just finished 4 days at Leopard Hills and it was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. The quality of the property, the staff and the food are off the charts. From Meg and her front office team to Nick in the restaurant to the Chef, they were all absolutely fantastic. A huge mention also goes to our guide Stuart and our tracker Coline who completely made the whole experience. Hats off folks, you absolutely nailed it!

Stayed for 4 nights and did 7 game drives. Our ranger, Johan, was outstanding - amazing knowledge and personality! Our tracker, Colin, helped us find everything we wanted to see - the “big 5” and more! But the the staff were outstanding too - Rip in the bar, Carmen, too many names to mention. Would recommend 100%.

From the moment we arrived at Leopard Hills, it was absolute perfection. Our expectations were far exceeded from the lodge, amenities, food, staff, guides, hospitality. Our ranger (Morne) and tracker (Sunnyboy) were incredible. Can't wait to come back again. Can't recommend this lodge enough!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Leopard Hills, it was truly a treasure and we were blown away by the accommodations and the friendly staff. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my husband and I so I put a ton of research into it and am so happy we chose Leopard Hills. There are so many choices but you cannot go wrong with this one. We were in suite #5 per my request and had elephants drinking from our pool daily! It was incredible. The food was always on point which included a Boma (cookout type thing) Our guide Morne was extremely knowledgeable and we saw the big 5 within two game drives! The staff is so friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for a perfect safari trip.

Leopard Hills was our final destination, concluding our first safari experience in Southern Africa, and what a way to end this wonderful trip! We stayed 4 nights and wish we had stayed longer. The lodge is stunning, featuring modern, understated luxury with earthy tones that seamlessly blend into the surrounding landscape. The views from the main deck are breathtaking. Situated on the side of a hill, it offers a stunning overlook of both the surrounding landscape and the waterhole below the lodge. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a variety of animals, such as rhinos, elephants, impalas, wildebeests, and hippos, at the waterhole during breakfast and lunch. There are eight rooms or suites located throughout the resort. Some are built on the hillside with stunning views, while others are at ground level facing the bush. Each suite is beautifully designed, featuring a sitting area with a desk, a comfortable king-sized bed, and a bathroom equipped with both a separate shower and bath. Outside, there is a deck that includes a plunge pool and an outdoor shower. The room offers all the amenities you could desire, including a well-stocked fridge with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, snacks, and a Nespresso coffee machine. We stayed in room 5, which was located on the ground level and overlooked a small waterhole frequented by various animals, including elephants. It was great to sit on the deck and watch impalas, baboons, and zebras come to the waterhole. One afternoon, I had the most magical experience of being woken up by elephants drinking from the pool! In addition to the luxurious surroundings, the staff is excellent. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and attentively. The staff remembered our names and preferences, such as how we take our coffee and our favourite lunch beverages. These small details and personalised service truly reflect what makes this lodge great! Special thanks to Spha for taking such great care of us during meal times and to Portia in the spa for relieving our sore muscles with her magical touch. What truly sets this place apart is the game drives. The vehicles accommodate only six passengers and are extremely comfortable. Each morning, we were given hot water bottles, blankets, and windbreaker ponchos to ensure we could enjoy the drives without getting cold. We saw a lion and the resident leopard, Ravencourt, on the first game drive, and we had ticked off the “Big 5” within 48 hours of arriving at the lodge. Justin, our guide, was phenomenal. His knowledge of the African biota was incredible, and he had a wonderful personality to match. He was an excellent host, taking care of us during rest breaks by preparing a “bush mix” of chocolate, coffee, and Amarula in the morning and mixing G&T or DBC at sundown. The trackers, Justice and Ronnie, were great and always going above and beyond while spotting tracks, unusual insects, or birds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lodge and woul

We have just returned (sadly!) from a four night stay at Leopard Hills, there were four of us in the party. This place really is special. From the moment you arrive until you leave nothing is too much trouble to ensure that you are having a great stay. Everyone working here seems to be genuinely happy and want to help. The quality of everything here is second to none. A special thank you to Spha, nothing was ever too much trouble and always done with a smile. Our guide, Morne, was superb. His knowledge was incredible and such a great personality to go with it. Our tracker, Bongani, was fantastic, incredibly aware of everything around him. We have always said that we would be unlikely to return to the same lodge, that has now changed and the four of us plan to return in 2027! Thanks to everyone at Leopard Hills, we have had a most amazing time.
