Kowakuen Haruka

The accommodation was really nice^^ While looking for a comfortable travel destination in Japan with my son, we decided on Matsuyama, which has a new direct flight, and while looking for a hotel, we read reviews saying it had good hot spring facilities and was close to Dogo Onsen. After comparing prices, we booked this hotel through Trip.com, which we always use. After considering the room type, I chose the corner deluxe room. I made a reservation with breakfast included and left for Matsuyama with excitement. Arrived at a small airport, drank a glass of Jaguchi Mikan Juice, took the free airport shuttle bus for Korean tourists, got off at Dogo Onsen Station, took fun photos in front of the Botchan Train and Botchan Karakuri Clock, and headed to the hotel. After passing through a retro shopping street, I arrived at the hotel. Perhaps because I walked there, the location didn't feel far. The hotel's main entrance was just to the left of the Dogo Onsen Main Building, and it was very convenient to use the elevator that went up to the first floor. The staff at the front of the hotel was very friendly. I could speak Japanese so it didn't really matter, but there was also a staff member who could speak Korean. I was really comfortable with the service of bringing my suitcase to my room. As I entered the room, I felt satisfied once again with the neat and comfortable Japanese interior. I also liked the well-arranged bedding, yukatas and hot spring baskets of different sizes, stylish amenities, and a well-separated bathroom, toilet, and powder room. I often travel to Japan, but this was the hotel I was most satisfied with. The hot spring was well maintained and cleaner than any other hotel hot spring, and I was once again surprised by the fact that the massage machine was free to use. I was also satisfied with the breakfast. Japanese and Western food were prepared, and even sea bream sashimi, a must-eat food in this region, was prepared, so I ate so much in the morning that I gained a lot of weight during the trip. In the evening, I was able to enjoy the luxury of listening to a complimentary piano performance and drinking whiskey in the lobby for an hour. I plan to go to Matsuyama again, which is a small town but offers comfortable rest and enjoyment. If I go to Matsuyama again, I plan to stay at Kowakuen Haruka without hesitation. The room was clean and tidy. There were fresh sashimi for breakfast and dinner, and sea bream for chawanmushi dinner. It was delicious~ but it was a buffet. Footbath for two is included, and there will be live piano music after dinner. If you are full, you can listen to the piano and soak in the hot spring first. The arrangement is considerate, great! The only drawback is that the hot spring area is too small, so I can't fully enjoy it.
