The hotel is 5 stars in terms of look and fee with a 1 star service. WiFi was horrible, rooms were not always made with a number of excuses. Hot tub in the indoor pool was dirty and not functioning. If the rate was $50 per night you would understand. Sad to say I would never go back.

Mist Hotel in Ehden, Lebanon, presents an interesting dichotomy. The room was spacious and clean, and the rate was akin to a 4-star hotel in Geneva, a comparison that feels out of place considering the differences in location and the service provided. A disappointing note was the extra charge of USD 1.6 for each additional small bottle of water beyond the two complimentary ones. Especially when a 10L gallon of the same brand costs just USD 2, this fee feels unnecessary and contradicts the hospitable spirit of a 5-star hotel. It’s a matter of principle, not value. The breakfast experience was lackluster, with a limited selection and slow refilling of dishes. One particular incident that struck me was the discovery of a piece of bread that was hard and stale. When brought to the waiter’s attention, he admitted it was from a batch delivered three days prior. On a brighter note, the pool, sunset bar, and outdoor coffee shop were wonderful, providing serene spots for relaxation. The staff were generally professional, helpful, and welcoming. However, the smelly elevator floor indicated a lapse in cleanliness, likely due to an old or improperly dried cleaning mop. In summary, while Mist Hotel possesses some attractive features, it falls short in certain areas which need improvement to genuinely align with its 5-star rating.

This hotel is one of my favorites in Lebanon. I was extremely disappointed when I was walking right next to this hotel (on the same street) and a bunch of aggressive dogs tried to attack me. I heard that many people were bit by those same dogs previosuly. I mean I love dogs, but there was something wrong with these dogs. I knew that if I ran, they were gonna attack me. So, I stayed calm and tried to calmly walk back to the hotel. Thankfully, nothing happened to me. The hotel really should be attentive to its guests' safety and go out of their way to let them know not to go on this street to jog or walk. The worst part is that the treadmills in the hotel don't work, so I was forced to go walk on the hotel's street to exercise.

We've been at MIST HOTEL & SPA 3 times in the past couple of years, and it was our Favorite Hotel in the North area… But our last visit on 22-23 December was a totally different experience! To start with the price, the rate per a standard room was $200, which is kind of fair for a 5 stars hotel where you expect to be well treated. BUT: - The Hotel was freezing cold in the lobby and halls. The poor employee at the lobby was using an electric heater on her feet to stay warm! - The room had an air heating system that does not reach the toilet, and you can't even control it from your room. - We had already booked an Aromatic Massage in Serenity SPA at the hotel. Of course, they also used an electric heater in the SPA room (the heater was installed on my left side – My right side and feet stayed cold during the “relaxing” aromatic massage), and imagine leaving the SPA area after a fair massage to go through the cold halls to reach your room. It’s like running for your life in Antarctica. - The employees were really nice and tried to help us in every single way, but that was a management decision not to heat the whole place since there's not enough bookings. Well, that's not our problem as clients! We paid the exact same amount we did the previous 3 times, and we expected the same service quality! - Also, some of the Breakfast items were unavailable (For example, they used to make pancakes - now they don’t). To sum it up, Warwick hotels should not accept such quality for a 5 stars hotel. We're never visiting again, neither our family nor any of our friends! Think twice before booking, especially during the winter.

Valentines day at this hotel with high expections. We took the best room they had and it was ok. However, the service and especially the restaurant was terrible. We ordered a steak and it came as flat as a pita bread. We also ordered the salmon and it was dry and tasteless. We complained to the waiter and all he could say was that this is the only option they had. It ruined our special night and would never recommend such a place to anyone

I used to always tell people even from Lebanon that going to Mist is a must. However, on my recent visit, unfortunately it was evident that the quality has dropped a lot. AC is horrible, and after complaining multiple times, they still dont care to look for solutions. They actually have been telling us they will send someone and they haven’t. Honestly unfortunate. Highly advise not to go in summer..

This is an over priced hotel. It is not part of Warwick hotels anymore (however it is still mentioned on their website and in their email address that it is a Warwick Hotel) and do not deserve to be a 5star hotel. The staff: Extremely friendly and helpful. Few staff remains with long hours shifts and no resouces (no trolleys, no gulf cart, they just walk by foot around the resort despite the weight of the items they are delivering and despite the heat and the sun...) and yet they arrive to their guests smiling and ready to help again at any time. The management: Totally absent!!! We booked a chalet for 2 nights and mentioned clearly that we have a toddler with us. After having an issue that the chalet a is super close to a concert/party area where the speakers are just 1 meter away, the front desk handled the issue professionally and tried all their best to comfort us and find us a better option; However the Finance Manager wanted us to pay more money in order to move us to a better option and the Hotel Manager did not bother to leave her office to come to the reception and talk to us. After a 2 hours of back and forth between us and the hotel team, the manager called the reception to offer us another chalet (same description as the one we booked) but away from the party noise. The chalet: It seemed clean but the furniture has stains all over and some cigarettes burn signs. There is rust in the toilets. There was no towels and when the towels came they are clean but super old. The breakfast: A decent buffet (not a 5star buffet) but good food quality.

Beautiful and stylish hotel surrounded by mountains and a beautiful horizon view. Cleanliness is top The pool area is nice and relaxing BarVu (Lounge and bar) has a great sunset view and Okay food and drinks My special requests were fully and nicely accomodated (Room decoration + Birthday cake etc...) But has some lacks in few areas, to be the a full 5-stars hotel - Before my visit, I tried to call to book, more than 6 times, without an answer whatsoever - The staff are "nice" but poorly trained. Without a proper uniform, Upon your arrival you can cannot know who is who, are they front desk staff or bunch of young people standing there. - The breakfast is lacking options, has the basics, not 5 star hotel worthy - The wifi isnt reliable, if you have some work to do - During my stay 10 to 15 kids were running around the hotel, screaming like crazy. The hotel is definitely family friendly, but well... - Some maintenance needs to be done around the hotel, dislocated tiles, eroded paint, rusty spots in very visible places etc... You will enjoy your stay if you love the mountains - Subjective review based on a first hand experience during a stay in August 2022 -

A place I would definitely stay at every summer. A beautiful property, unbelievably friendly staff who go over and beyond their duty, while extremely under resourced with the least possible means and support from their management. The staff at the pool “Michel” and the ladies at the bar and lobby coffee shop were so welcoming and warm, even after their 18 hour shifts. An extremely limited breakfast, however the quality of what was what offered was extremely delicious. If management would only put some effort in supporting the property and the staff much more, this would definitely be a 5 star hotel.
