Fantastic weekend in the Berkshires made more charming with a stay at this inn. Self check in smooth, lovely room although a little noisy due to older windows, fantastic barn music venue on property ! Star of the show was Rhonda the innkeeper- warm, knowledgeable and ready to help in any way! The property definitely needs a little TLC, but the charm, location and care we were shown made up for it!

Do not stay at this Inn. It is not in the condition depicted in the photos posted to this site. We actually had to find another place to stay the second night of our weekend in the Berkshires because of the awful conditions. When we arrived Friday evening, there was an alarm sounding just inside the front door. When we opened the door to our assigned room, we were greeted by the stench of mildew. Areas of paint on the interior facing door to our room were scraped off in places. the walls were dirty and peeling and there was a large bug in the upper corner of the bathroom. There was no WIFI, so we had to wait to return to our car to text the Innkeeper about the alarm and WIFI (what wax the point of saying anything about our observations). When we returned from dinner the alarm was still ringing. In the middle of the night the heat was turned off, so it was cold. It is not surprising that we were not able to sleep in these conditions. Instead of enjoying our weekend plans, we spent Saturday morning finding another place to stay the night. The owner and inn keeper should be ashamed. Not only was our room paid for in full, but we incurred an additional expense to stay elsewhere. I find it hard to believe we paid to stay in such a place.

We rented out the Egremont Inn for our wedding guests. Our guests absolutely loved staying here. Almost every single one of them told me about how amazing Rhonda was. She is so hospitable and has adorable dogs who follow her around! She made everyone coffee in the mornings and even texted me updates when all the guests departed for the wedding! We also rented out the barn for our welcome party which was perfect for us. I highly recommend staying here as it has such New England charm. Thank you Egremont Barn & Inn for your hospitality!

I stayed at the Egremont Inn for 2 nights last week as I was visiting family in the Great Barrington region. I love visiting this part of MA, and the Egremont Inn is always a pleasure to stay at. In addition to a great Inn, it has the benefit of The Barn next door for great music and food!

Great place! The rooms are adorable, and I even got to stay in one with a gorgeous claw foot bathtub! An added bonus is the amazing innkeeper Rhonda, with her assistant pups making sure everyone has the best stay and everything they need. Will definitely stay again!

Great base camp if you want to explore the Berkshires. We picked the location, in part, because it was convenient to our kids' summer camp. It was a very comfortable stay in a big and beautiful house. Rhonda, the inn keeper, is an absolute gem and is the glue that holds the place together. Breakfast is good, and there is a lot of fun stuff to do on the grounds at night if you don't want to travel, like a Hilltown hot pies summer pop up with home made gelato and a music venue on property.

Terrible experience!!! N0 staff, no service, no TV, no restaurant, no bar. Music Venue in Barn on property ever so often with hefty surcharge until 11pm. Pos old historic property (could be charming), good wifi. Look at the Shower in our upgraded room!

Will never stay here again, and would not recommend it to anyone due to an uncomfortable room, lack of hospitality, lack of food, and terrible value for the price. First, the positives. The inn is a charming historic building. The room was clean. The bath soap smelled nice. Although the room was freezing, there were plenty of blankets and a space heater. Umm I think that’s it…? The inn isn’t very comfortable. We stayed in one of the basement rooms, which was cold and noisy. We heard people walking around above us, loud music from the venue, and a freaking rooster crowing all day. There were no amenities, such as a TV or mini-fridge. The bed (which was labeled as a king on ********** but was actually a queen) dipped in the center so badly that I spent the whole night trying not to roll into my husband—which is pretty unacceptable at a hotel. Food was very misleading. They have breakfast, which you pay for separately, but not as many options as I saw online; after viewing the sparse menu, with almost no vegetables, we chose to go elsewhere. It claims to have a dinner restaurant on site, which is total crap—what they have is a music venue. We tried to eat dinner there, and they wanted to charge $25 per person just to enter, before ordering food! So essentially, there’s no real food onsite. And the water fountain was empty the whole time. I never saw a staff person while we were there (aside from the woman selling coffee); not a welcoming vibe at all. The inn shares a parking lot with the music venue, with no parking dedicated to the inn, so parking is a challenge when there’s a show. Overall, we were uncomfortable and annoyed the entire time. We couldn’t wait to leave!
