Sehr schönes Haus mit guter Ausstattung, liebevoll dekoriert, nicht nur das Haus selbst, sondern auch der große Außenbereich. Ruhige Lage, trotzdem zentral genug, um alle die Fjorde im Osten und das Hochland in Richtung Snaefell und Hafrahvammar Canyon zu erkunden. Alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Empfehlung: etwas Schönes, z.B. einen Lachs auf dem großen Grill zubereiten. Sehr netter persönlicher Kontakt zu unserem Gastgeber. Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft, wenn man den Osten Islands erkunden möchte. Very nice house with good facilities, lovingly decorated, not only the house itself, but also the large outdoor area. Quiet location, yet central enough to explore the fjords in the east and the highlands towards Snaefell and Hafrahvammar Canyon. All shopping options are nearby. Recommendation: prepare something nice, e.g. a salmon on the large grill. Very nice personal contact with our host. An absolutely recommended place to stay if you want to explore the east of Iceland.
