The driving to the hotel at the break car station is a little complicated. That could have been made easier. Holiday Inn Express is located above the shop or restaurant from the car station. The reception there was very friendly. Check-in went relatively quickly. Although the room and bathroom were typically Holiday Inn Express small, but very clean and quiet. What we didn't like here was that the room and bathroom were quite cold. The possibility of being up to the room temperature control intended for this was not possible. There is a clear point deduction for this. Also a point deduction for breakfast buffet. We felt that in the Holiday Inn Express Hamburg-South was the worst thing we had known to the breakfast buffets of the Holiday Inn Express houses in Germany. The ”normal” breads were no longer available at 09.00 clock. The statement by the staff ”we will still be any re-order” did not use us. Aftershoot of sauce or cheese was only slow and that, Although there were only few guests in the breakfast area. Ruhei didn't give anything here. Like the room, the breakfast area was too cool to stay. The hotel is still relatively new and of course there can still be ”children's diseases”. But there are those that should not happen at all!

So close to a beautiful campsite . There is so much nature. It looks almost like in Sweden. The campsite is so natural and large that you can make a beautiful walk directly on the campsite. You stand on the terraces for yourself through bucks and trees you have privacy. The restaurant is so super. There can be some restaurant or the kitchen to take an example, because the food is mega delicious and super decorated. The guest couple is very attentive and so very friendly. You feel right at once. The sanitation facilities are so clean. Very good. There is also a pool that is soon available for use again. So we come back. We are very happy to see our next stay.

Die Lage des Hotels mitten in der Lüneburger Heide ist fantastisch. Auch die Standardzimmer sind ausreichend groß und nett eingerichtet. Aufgrund der etwas verwinkelten Architektur und verschiedener (sehr schön eingerichteter) Frühstücksräume fällt der Größe der Hotels nicht unangenehm auf. Der Außenbereich ist sehr weitläufig, gepflegt und bietet Postkartenidylle. Speisen und Getränke sind ok, aber deutlich zu teuer. Hinsichtlich des Personals gab es riesige Unterschiede. Fast alle KellnerInnen waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, einzelne aber auch abweisend und unfreundlich. Wir fanden es teilweise irritierend, dass Besuchern, die keine Hotelgäste waren, ein Platz für eine Tasse Kaffee verwehrt wurde, obwohl offensichtlich viele Tische unbesetzt waren (und blieben). Wenn Café und Restaurant nur für Hotelgäste gedacht sind, sollte man das auch so kommunizieren. Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.
