This hostel was recommended in Lonely Planet along with several other travel blogs from Inner Mongolia and it did not disappoint. The location was fantastic as it was set a bit further out from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. The ranch sits directly beside a river and parallel with it is a walking/biking path that is perfect for pictures during golden hour and for seeing the stars at night. It would have been nice to know in advance that foreigners are required to complete their own registration at the local police station because we could have gone there straight instead, but fortunately it was only a five minute drive from the hostel and we were able to check-in without a problem. It was hot at night and the air conditioner didn't seem to work despite setting it to 19 degrees Celsius. Enhe ranch was in a great location for a day trip to Shiwei on the Russian border along with the birch forests in E'erguna on our way down to Hailar. My favorite part was the view from the bedroom--stunning!

I was worried that the restaurant would be out of food at this late hour, but I went to the restaurant and the chef was very enthusiastic. He ordered three fresh ground dishes, hand-picked lamb and noodles, and returned to the room with a full burp. I think this day is really satisfying! What is worthy of praise is the fruit plate delivered by the hotel. The quantity and quality far exceed the star-rated hotels. It is also an unexpected surprise! The weather was bad, so we left the next day. But we will come again in June when the vegetation is abundant.

Thank you for the milk candy brought by the boss for the child. I ate a very fragrant firewood rice. This is the most comfortable night I have stayed in Enhe, Shiwei, Genhe these days. I chatted with the boss and learned that every piece of wood here was shipped from Anhui. The decoration workers were also from Anhui. It was considered the most beautiful homestay on the grassland.

It is recommended not to eat in the hotel again, or to go out and stroll around, or the meaning of staying in Enhe will be gone. It is also a suggestion to the owner of this hotel. The money is still earned by everyone. To be honest, if you don't ride a bicycle out, you should say that you don't have any feelings for Enhe. ② Don't watch the sunset on the Internet. The chassis of your car must be high. The road to watch the sunrise is too difficult to walk. If you watch the sunset, you still have to head to Montenegro. ③ Also choose Shiwei Ancient Town.
