The room was great minus the unhelpful attitude of the check in attendant. Had a great evening until I came down for breakfast. At 8:30 am on a Friday morning they are out of all hot breakfast foods, out of coffee and have a lady working the breakfast area that could care leas guests paid to have breakfast included in their stay. I typically stay with Hilton but gave Marriott a try this trip and they failed on something simple like breakfast.

Everything was wonderful. The room is a nice size, bright and very quiet. I didn’t hear any noise from above, next door or in the hall. Nice closet with plenty of shelves in the bathroom. The water pressure was good and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was perfect with everything you need. Keurig was awesome. I’d definitely stay again!

Very overpriced, the management is rude. The manager by the name of Drew should be in laundry service away from the public. He has absolutely no managerial skills. The breakfast is mediocre at best. This will be my last time unless great changes are made.

This was my first visit to TownePlace Suites in Edwardsville, IL. My husband & I stayed for 1 night (a Friday) in a queen bed suite & paid $228.85. This was a complimentary upgrade from a king bed studio, thanks to my Gold Elite status. ARRIVAL/CHECK-IN/ROOM: We arrived around 7:30 PM, & it took ＜ 2 minutes to get checked-in. Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel to request a quiet room on an upper floor. We were grateful to have been assigned corner room #521. • Amenities: Almost anything you might need, except for a luggage rack. • Bath: Plenty of hot water & good pressure; hair dryer available. • Bed: Comfortable bed; we appreciated there being both soft & firm pillows to choose from. • Cleanliness: Very clean; however, the carpet could use a thorough vacuum. • Decor: Standard • Heating/cooling: Worked well • Sound: Interior was very quiet, but you can hear traffic (not bothersome to either of us). • TV: Clear picture, plenty of channels & streaming capabilities. • View: Nothing to note • WiFi: Strong DRINKS/FOOD: • We skipped the free breakfast offered CUSTOMER SERVICE: Excellent, both in-person & via the app chat feature. LOCATION/PARKING: • Location: Close to several restaurants • Parking: Complimentary parking PETS: • We chose this hotel because it's pet friendly. No noise concerns. Would I recommend/stay again? Absolutely! However, it is pricey compared to area hotels.

Mary checked us in she was so nice and helpful! She recommended a place called 54th Street and then we ventured the small downtown area! The staff was great, the room was clean and one of the best places I have ever stayed! They had a free breakfast too! It was well worth it and the staff was awesome! Thank You! Michele & Clint

The so-called 'suite' we booked is claustrophobic, grossly undersized, cramped, and just plain tiny. Why this joke of a room is billed as a suite defies reason. A bed dominates the miniscule space, facing a small couch. Yes, there is a refrigerator and hot plate stuck in a narrow passage from the door, but lacking table or chairs there is no place to eat - except on the bed. This is really unacceptable. The lone television in this ridiculous 'suite' is situated on a wall in a position where it cannot be viewed easily from the bed or the couch. Did I mention service, or the lack of it? It took an hour to get a missing hair dryer delivered to our room so that my wife could shower. This would be considered a very small motel room under any circumstances and is NOT by any stretch of the imagination a suite. Marriott has reached a new low with this latest assault on the American traveler. Will we return? Never.
