Hub by Premier Inn Edinburgh Haymarket

I booked a double room and was told that the room was very compacted. But it was beyond our expectation. Clean and saving. Very central. Just 5 min walk from Haymarket station

Had the pleasure of staying at the Hub Premier Inn in Edinburgh and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and accommodation that I received during my stay. As a first-time visitor to your hotel, I was not quite sure what to expect, but I have to say that my experience exceeded my expectations. I had decided to take a trip with my son to Edinburgh to show him the sights and give him a little taste of Scottish culture. I was not familiar with your hotel before booking my stay, but after a little research, I decided to give it a chance. I have to say that I was not disappointed. The Hub Premier Inn was situated in a great location for exploring the city on foot. It was close enough to the castle to make for a convenient visit, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful at night. We were able to explore the city via Princess Street or take back streets to the Castle entrance and the Edinburgh museum. Overall, I would highly recommend your hotel to others who are looking for a great place to stay in Edinburgh. The quality of service, accommodation, and location exceeded my expectations. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I hope to have the chance to visit Hub Premier Inn again in the future.

Small but perfectly formed, well-designed rooms with everything you need, friendly staff and great value breakfast

This place was very convenient for Haymarket station. Arriving in the evening it was great that it was barely 5 mins away on foot. The room was compact but very well designed and in great condition. Check-in was all automated so I could get straight in.

Hotel location is good for getting around Edinburgh and is located a short walk from Haymarket rail and tram stops. Room was clean and offered all the necessary amenities for a short stay. The continental breakfast had enough selection and was more than adequate to set you up for the day ahead.

I stayed in this hotel on two separate occasions. The water pressure in the shower and the bathroom sink were low both times. On the first night, I reported this immediately, but the hotel was fully booked so I could not change rooms. The staff members noted down the problems to bring to the manager’s attention, who was there the next morning. The manager was kind, apologetic and gave me a partial refund on my stay. The second time, along with the low water pressure, the air-conditioner was faulty. I put the air conditioner on before going to sleep and woke up at 4am as the room was warm. This is when I realised that the air conditioner was faulty. As I was tired, I tried to sleep again but could not. I then went to reception at 5:25am to report this to a member of staff. The member of staff was preparing breakfast and asked me to report this to the manager. The manager came at 7am. I reported this to the manager at 7:30am but the manager was serving breakfast to customers and did not have time to check my room. I later checked out at 8:30am with a poor night’s sleep. The manager then processed a partial refund afterwards. The fact that this happened twice is very disappointing. If anyone is looking to stay there, check the water pressure in the shower and the air-conditioner right away. I have also stayed at other Premier Inn hotels in Edinburgh and have found the quality of the facilities to be of a low standard.
