I saw the previous reviews and decided it to give it tor benefit of the doubt but they are all-warranted.The room was beaten down, floors chipped. The bed kept moving and was not comfortable. The tv was from the 2000’s and barely watch able. The windows were old and the heating didn’t even come on. I was meant to stay there for two nights but left after 1. The picture of the rooms are nothing like as it is shown. The only good thing it has going for itself is the location. But it was definitely not worth the price I paid for. The customer service was abysmal as well. Called a few times, the first time they said they would raise the concerns with management and will get back to me. They didn’t. Called a 2nd time asking for an update. They then proceeded to hang up on me. I then called again right away a few times and they ignored my calls. I then got an email from ‘management’ where they asked what was wrong, I replied with my concerns and heard nothing back. They then sent me another message through trip saying. If you have any concerns raise it with trip. Very poor. Would not recommend this ‘hotel’ at all.

Please refund me, it was the hardiest wrong to book your property to stay. Not good sleep or relax. Your dirties property should book some animals it’s the best. Please process my refund. On the check in time also was 3 hours waiting i have these proof also. Thank you.

This was our first experience in an automated no-service no-staff hotel..we stayed 2 nights and did not see a single member of staff. the room was not cleaned and the breakfast was basic and only continental. For the price we paid, I expected a little more. the hotel is an old converted Georgian house and looks nice from the outside. Would I stay here again? No !

When we arrived there was no code to access the key. For some reason it hadn’t been sent. However after much checking of their records the owner managed to get our key. But as we had no code we couldn’t access the key safe when we checked out so just left the key in our room. Breakfast was terrible!! One of the worst I have ever experienced in all my years of travelling. The choice was a packet croissant or a selection of 3 cereals. No fruit, no bread to make toast, no hot food, just awful!! In fact one guest tipped cereal on the floor then spent the next few minutes kicking it under the fridge!! On our 2nd of 2 nights, we had an early start next morning so tried to go to sleep around 10pm. Shortly after 10, outside our room which was on the ground floor, a lot of drunk women started shouting and yelling and popping champagne bottles. The loud chatter continued for over an hour when they then decided they couldn’t get into their rooms as they had misplaced their keys. This went on and on until it got a bit too rowdy and the swearing started and we thought a fight was about to break out!!! But the hotel owner occupies a room on the ground floor and did nothing to help! Awful, horrible hotel that doesn’t give what it promises. To be fair on one point, our room was spacious, but advertised as a ‘Business Double’ I think is a bit OTT. I’m sure a businessman/lady wouldn’t have wanted to stay here.
