Our Stay on the Brae was fine, but I think it is advertised as more than it is. It is a bedroom and bath attached to someone's house. You enter the room by walking around back of the house and entering the room from an exterior door. The bedroom was just big enough for the kingsize bed. The owner was very nice and provided for our needs and gave us useful information.

What a lovely place to stay for a short break.
On the direct bus route into Edinburgh.
Lovely comfortable big bed.
