Room was great ,it was just to sleep for the night. Stuff was friendly, room was welcoming and we had towels changed every 2 days.,bed was done as well and had a clean room.We had two towels each. Pillows and mattress were comfy enough . I highly recommend it

Corstorphine Lodge is conveniently located on the St. John’s Road (within about 15 minutes from airport) with bus stops for the Airport Airlinks and local Lothian buses a few minutes walk away. Last year had a very nice room on the ground floor. This year my room was on the first floor. Large room and clean, but en-suite bath awkward. Very small sink in a corner in front of the shower. Could not bend to use the sink unless I stood sideways. Breakfast optional at extra cost. On-site parking provided but small. Proprietors very friendly and helpful but not sure about staying again.

Very large room and bathroom. Extra bonus was a bath. Warm room and very comfortable bed. Quiet also. Easy bus route into Edinburgh and also from the airport. Some parts of hotel in need of decoration but think this was being done. Hotel had character

The room was a great size for our family of 5 and a very convenient location with easy access to Edinburgh city via the buses right outside the door. Lots of good food options close by. The property does need some work. In particular in our room the curtains need to be replaced badly. The room could do with a repaint and there is mould in the shower seals we didn’t spend much time in the room as we were out exploring both days until late.

During the Fringe Festival this venue was charging over AUD$400 per night for a Double room. We arrived at around 2pm and asked if we could check-in, and we were told we were too early. We asked for a ground floor room, as we had large suitcases, however, we were given a first floor room up some narrow rickerty stairs which had a 1960's china cabinet on the half landing just to make it more challenging. The decor and finishes were ancient, which also came with ancient cobwebs. Their cost of breakfast was significantly higher than the nice cafe across the road. When we asked for additional milk on day two, the request was politely ignored. They showed no understating of the standard of food or accomodation that is reasonable for the high prices they charge. I would not use this hotel again.

Over priced. In a great location this hotel provides tired , uncared for decor , with minimum standard facilities and security. Staff are polite but management do not show understating of the standard of food or accomodation that is reasonable for the high prices they charge. I would not use this hotel again.
