I had an amazing stay at The W Edinburgh. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the room was cozy and clean, and the dining experience was superb. Highly recommend!

The first time I stayed in a hotel under Bonvoy its so bad overall

The little brother also helped us book a restaurant and was very responsible. The service is very good! The room environment is great. Breakfast is included in the room rate. It is on the 10th floor. The 12th floor is open in the morning and offers a panoramic view of Edinburgh. You can go up there after breakfast. The important thing to say is that breakfast is ordered from an English menu. With Tom's enthusiastic help, we chose the food we liked and had a great time eating it😋

The location of the hotel is very good. It is very convenient to go to all attractions. It is also very close to the train station. The breakfast is delicious. I recommend the Scottish breakfast. If the weather is good, you must go to the terrace on the top floor of the hotel. You can see the whole of Edinburgh.

The room is small, with poor soundproofing and lighting. The whole room is super dim. The bathroom lighting is not well designed. Even with the help of natural light during the day, it is difficult to see the face and hair in the mirror (such as makeup/hair wax to fix the style). There are large bottles of toiletries, and it is difficult to ensure the cleanliness of each guest. It is the hotel's business to save costs for environmental protection, but don't force everyone to be the same. The breakfast is terrible. The fruit salad for breakfast is not fresh. The watermelon tastes like it has been left for a long time... The service response speed is very slow. When checking in, the Marriott App is connected, and you can send messages to the hotel. But in the experience of the few days of staying, if you want bath towels or toothbrushes, it will take 1-2 hours to reply. The room is also cleaned casually on weekdays. The sheets are not even changed for a few days. The used bathrobes are thrown on the ground. As a result, I went back to the room and saw that they were hung back in the bathroom... There was no upgrade, and the room did not send any fruits or welcome cards, and the ceiling made strange noises when sleeping at night...
