Four Points by Sheraton Edinburgh

Environment: Regarding the location, while it's said to be close to the station, it's actually closer to Haymarket, not Edinburgh Waverly. Fortunately, there are frequent trains between the two stations, so it only takes four minutes. There are also buses, but those with concerns should be aware of this. It's very convenient to Haymarket, about five minutes away on flat ground. There's a Tesco right next door, which closes at 11 PM. Cleanliness: This floor felt damp, and there were some stains on the carpet, but fortunately, it wasn't particularly noisy the next day. I think the rooms near the stairs are noisier, as they're near the entrance to the restaurant. Service: I deducted one star because I really didn't like the ground floor. It's semi-basement, with only three rooms, and the window is in the upper left corner. When I arrived, this was the only room available, so I didn't bother changing and just stayed. Facilities: The room had all the amenities. The air conditioning wasn't very effective, but the temperature was fine even at night when it wasn't on. The water got a bit too hot during the night, and both faucets in the bathroom were cold. A better shower would have been better.
