stayed from 28th august to 2nd september in a mix 10 dorm room! staff are warm and welcoming and helpful, beds are clean and comfortable for bunk beds, specious lockers and clean hot showers! and bathrooms fully functional kitchen and eating area, plenty of plug sockets with also usb as well as by beds! only bad point and it’s not really a bad point is that it’s on the 4th floor and after miles of walking it can be a killer, also if stay over 4 days you get a breakfast voucher which was a nice bonus (roll and a cuppa) they also supply locks and towels for an additional charge (£3 for a towel and £4 lock) really enjoyed my stay and would use again

we were surprised by how hip and welcoming this place was! it's also very clean, and the kitchen has absolutely everything you could possibly need (including some "free to use" food items, depending on how much it's left over from people who have checked out). you can rent towels and padlocks or bring your own, and the staff is super sweet and always there to help out if there's any need for it. excellent location - literally in the middle of old town, and next to multiple bus stops. if i were to come to Edinburgh again, I would definitely stay here.

The day before our arrival, after we had already paid for the room, we are infromed that we have to go 4 flights of stairs without a lift and that our room is next to a night club with music blasting all night. We could not ask for a refund at this point, all we could do was asked to be moved to a room that was a bit further from the club and more quite, which meant we had to climb and additional set of stairs. 5 sets of stairs each time we went out, and the rooms were extremely basic, not even towels or dryer in the bathroom to wash your hands, not even hand soap!! Extremely basic and uncomfortable, do not recommend even though the location is excellent.

Granted, I'd had a bad experience at a previous hostel, and my husband was helpful and kind enough to make sure I'd get my own private room at the next one- this one. So I had the bedroom to myself- very nice. Window opened great. Stinky carpet. Bathrooms super clean. Kitchens and lounge super clean. Staff were very nice. The biggest downside is that you have to climb a circular staircase to the very top (a VERY long way) and that's kind of exhausting. Nonetheless, it was a great location and a good place to stay. In my own room. Without any other people. :)

Personal muy atento y amable. Se pueden dejar sin coste las maletas tras el check-out para seguir paseando por la ciudad. Lo único negativo es que le dimos en booking a pagar más por una serie de servicios que no tuvimos. Nos salió por unos 150 euros cada noche la habitación privada para dos. Me parece excesivo. Lo único que teníamos eran dos toallas, nada más. Ni un armario, ni un perchero para colgar nada, ni ninguna otra cosa. Destaco de nuevo la simpatía y amabilidad de las chicas que trabajan allí, el trato fue de 10. La ubicación es inmejorable. Sería lo mejor sin duda de este alojamiento. Mi puntuación del 1 al 5 es de 4. Un saludo desde Málaga.
