We expect good hotel based on ratings, but it was even better. Sure, the hotel is older, but you have feeling of care and cleanliness. As of corona time, there were some restrictions and regulations and still, the stay was very convenient. Big surprise was especially the breakfast, they managed serving buffet restaurant and still be compliant with regulations. Great job all you do there in Olymp. Also location offers a lot of dining options of various kind.

Single room was sufficient to traveler needs. Staff was not responsive and delayed sending entrance code.

For the fair I had to book a hotel outside because the prices were already pretty expensive. Two nights here over € 200 fair price is still perfectly well. From outside the construction does not make much, the lift has already experienced better times and the gangs narrow and narrow. Then to the great surprise the rooms are not so bad the bed very hard it does not miss anything a small desk a small chair for it but and for it there are also extra points, the bathroom is made new, see also photo. At the reception, on request, I was told that the rooms in the hotel were all made a few months ago why you didn't even highlight the pictures online is a mystery for me. I just looked under the bed that heard me just about it under the bed besides large dust flocks, even crown corks of any operations that can't be done at all. My empty cookie bag is still on the table was left on this morning so even if it is a cheap hotel a little service you can already expect just what cleanness is about after the years of Corona.

Quite good! The hotel, however, does not have a direct telephone number neither a direct email address, hence, when I wrote an email to the ”main” address the answer came back almost a week later, a second one written on April 30 still has not been answered. So why not have the possibility to write or call the prizeotel of your destination/stay? Something to think about I would say. Unfortunately, when asked about bus timetable in front of the hotel the receptionist could not provide any information - had to go to the stop to see the timetable. Nevertheless, I recommend the hotel to travellers: courtesy, friendliness and fantastic breakfast choices.

I really haven't got a bad word to say about this hotel. The rooms are at the top of a block of flats, so the views across the park are fantastic. Being in the Olympic Park, I assumed the hotel would be dated, but it isn't. Very modern and spotlessly clean. It is also very quite here, and there are plenty of shops and small cafes in the complex. Fantastic buffet breakfast to suit all tastes. Our trip from the airport on the S1 was a nightmare, as there was a signal failure, so we had to get a taxi to the hotel. (Apparently this isn't uncommon) A taxi from the airport to the hotel is around 90 Euros. The U3 is a three minute walk from the hotel, and the journey into the city centre is only arond 15 minutes. If I was to visit Munich, I would stay here again.

This hostel is the place where you can stay on a short budget in Munich. Equipment is modern, but service is not high standard, e.g. you need to actively ask for bedsheets at the registration. Cleanliness is ok but not at top-notch level.

Nice hotel, free parking, the hotel is very quiet, the price is very good, there are supermarkets around, shopping is very convenient, the front desk is full of people, you can stay in the middle of the night.

We spent one night in the hotel before a morning flight. We usually stay in 3 and 4 star modern business class hotels and this one appeared to fit that criteria. The standard ”double” room sounded small to me so I reserved the ”premium” or ”superior” room for less than 10 euro more. This review reflects that upgraded room which is supposed to be about 18 sq m or 205 sq ft. The room was quite roomy, actually bigger than I expected. We were on the top floor. The top two floors (4 and 5) are smaller than the rest of the hotel and have only 10 rooms per floor. It was quiet and comfortable. Although it's only a 3 star hotel, it felt like a 4 star hotel to me. The only negative in my mind is the lack of a 24-hour reception. They apparently open at 0700 (though my ”booking” web site said it opened at 0630). I just seems like a hotel with 120 rooms should have 24 hour reception. Or maybe at least 5am to midnight. When we went to check out at 630am, no one was there and there were a few card keys lying around. We just left our card keys as well, then later got an email about online checkout. The area is a significant distance from central Munich. It's about half way to the airport. A station witih S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines is immediately adjacent to the hotel. There aren't a lot of restaurants nearby but there is one in the hotel and a few nearby. We went to a lovely Italian restaurant just a few blocks away. I would definitely be back.

I have stayed here 6 times already and its great especially when you fly out the next day. The location is not the best if you want to go into the city but a great location to get to the MUC Airport. The staff is amazing, the bar is great with good food and drinks. The Hotel is inside a Office building which makes it super trendy. 100% worth the money. This time I arrived during the heat wave and the AC did not work and the room was a sauna. I just opened the windows and it cooled down over night. That was the only bad part but also not usual for Germany. Again great place, great staff and very convenient to get to MUC.

Wir wollten in der Ampervilla unsere Hochzeit im kleinen Kreis feiern und haben uns das Haus vor ein paar Monaten deshalb persönlich zeigen lassen. Bis auf die Lage - direkt gegenüber ist ein Gewerbebetrieb mit entsprechender Optik - gefiel uns alles gut, besonders das Restaurant ”Grethe”, das eine schöne lange Tafel hat, an der wir am Abend mit unseren Gästen essen sollten - so jedenfalls die Ankündigung der Mitarbeiterin, die uns alles zeigte (und die meinte, draußen essen sei im Sommer oft wegen sehr vieler Mücken nicht möglich). Außerdem vereinbarten wir, dass wir uns etwa zwei Wochen vor dem Termin nochmals melden, um ein Menü für unsere Gäste zusammenzustellen. Als wir dies taten, erfuhren wir eher nebenbei am Telefon vom Koch, dass das Hotel mittlerweile noch eine ”richtige” Hochzeit mit 35 Gästen angenommen hatte, die das komplette Restaurant belegen würden - wir sollten in den Frühstücksraum abgeschoben werden. Ein Menü auszusuchen sollte plötzlich auch nicht mehr möglich sein wegen der anderen Gruppe und es wurde noch irgendwas von ”immer noch Kurzarbeit” gemurmelt. Es hätte uns unser Fest schlicht verdorben, wären wir an unserem Hochzeitstag vor diese vollendeten Tatsachen gestellt worden ohne noch irgendetwas ändern zu können. Das mindeste, was ich vom Hotel erwartet hätte (abgesehen von der eigentlichen Erwartung, sich an getroffene Vereinbarungen zu halten), wäre gewesen, uns über die Änderungen unaufgefordert sofort zu informieren und so die Gelegenheit zu geben zu entscheiden, ob wir unter diesen Umständen überhaupt noch dort feiern und übernachten wollen. Aber dann wäre man ja das Risiko eingegangen, dass wir absagen und unser immerhin voraussichtlich auch deutlich vierstelliger Umsatz nicht stattfindet... Unsere anderen Hochzeitsdienstleister - Fotograf, Friseurin, Floristin - haben alle nur den Kopf geschüttelt, als ich von dem ”Erlebnis” erzählt habe. Glücklicherweise ist es uns - wenn auch mit viel Zeitaufwand - noch gelungen, ein Restaurant mit Hotel zu finden, in dem wir sehr professionell betreut wurden und ein richtig schönes Fest hatten. In die Ampervilla werden wir ganz sicher keinen Fuß mehr setzen!
