Eagle House - Award Winning Luxury B&B and Apartment

Eagle House is absolutely stunning and is even better than it looks on the photographs! The history of the place is so interesting and well worth reading in the included detailed information file - the history adds to the experience of staying there. Helen and Andy have thought of everything for the people staying there, with so many thoughtful extras, which really made a difference. The bedroom was very large, warm, and well furnished, with 2 lovely chairs (with blankets) by the window and a table (plugs near by). The sheets, duvet cover and pillows were all top quality and a delight to experience. The en-suite was fantastic - as with the bedroom, it was immaculately clean. It had a very large shower cubicle, with an excellent shower head and a really easy to use temperature control. The products were really good and extensive - I really didn't expect to have use of such lovely items. As a finishing touch, the high quality towels were really thick and looked brand new. l was only able to stay one night this time and as I needed to leave early, I didn't have time for what looked to be an excellent breakfast. I would have loved to stay longer and highly recommend Eagle House.

What a beautiful place and such history. Andy and Helen were extremely welcoming and lovely to chat to. Our room was beautiful, full of antique furniture and an amazingly comfortable bed, the room was so comfortable we felt no need to go out, just stay in and relax. Couldn't recommend highly enough, we will definitely stay there again when we are in the area. Thank you.

We loved our stay at Eagle House. The bnb is in a beautiful old building with an interesting history. There was a Large comfy bed, a fantastic breakfast with lots of choice and friendly staff. For what you get, it’s a bargain and we will be back. Great location, only a short walk into the centre of the village.

Apparently, the facilities offered at this hotel are " Top Secret" so, my advice is to not ask. Especially if you are unlucky enough to deal with a very self-inflated, an arrogant person called Helen, who obviously believes that both rudeness and preconceptions are an endorsement for staying in business... I'm sure that this hotel is very nice and that not all the staff are as unfortunate as Helen, but this is definitely not good for the front desk ... Maybe Helen needs re-training? Just a thought.

Lovely B&B, very welcoming (great biscuits in the room with plenty of tea and coffee and real milk in the mini-fridge). Comfortable bed, very good shower. Lots of places to eat within walking distance in town. Highly recommend this and would stay again.

This was the best B&B experience we have ever had. Andy and Helen were perfect hosts along the lines of, staying with old friends who you really love. I have family in Eccleshall but their house is small so we booked Eagle House. I said to my wife as we left that I would return and stay even if my rellys moved to Scotland. Excellent rooms and facilities along the lines of The Hilton or The Academy in Bloomsbury (I've stayed in both). The beds are feather soft and big. Great views. Lots of history and a lovely drawing room to sit and relax in. Breakfast was sumptuous and service exemplary. Don't forget to look for the 'treasure'. Thank you Andy and Helen, we WILL return!
