We found our room very small. We had requested a superior double but the bed was small you could barely get around it in the room There was very little hanging space and what there was ,was very pokey. The bathroom was small, the bath stained and the shower head launched itself when the taps turned on so any clothing towels and walls in its line of fire were drenched. I was saturated because of this and asked for a hairdryer as there wasn't one in the room. The one that was brought up didn't work Only one bath towel in the bathroom for two people Just not organised Saving grace was June who cooked and managed guests. She is a great cook and a very cheerful person, the only positive in a very lack lustre environment

If you want an understanding hotel who will change or cancel your booking due to unforeseeable circumstances e.g. ill health/close family suddenly taken into hospital don't book this hotel as they are rude & don't care...................

We had a good welcome and shown our rooms. Long walk upstairs to room 7 which was perfect for one person, a squash for a couple, in the eves. Very clean and comfortable but very little storage space, again ok for one. On the downside, ironing board but no iron, very shaky electrics- TV , kettle, and my charger wouldn't connect properly - maybe dangerous. Delicious breakfast, hot, tasty and plentiful.

This place is like fort knox. Awful experience from start to finish. Initially arrived 15 minutes early. Everywhere locked. If this was a superior double room I need glasses Room was cold when we arrived toilet running all night. Tried to have a bath at 6am and water was cold. We booked breakfast. Went down at 7.55 shut still shut at 8.05. We ended up forfeiting our breakfast to go to macdonalds. Despite ringing the hotel they said breakfast was at 8. Couldn't check out as front door locked and no one on reception.

Rundown premises, rude and very hostile staff. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Also the check in time was ridiculous, only possible from 17:00 - 21:00. Please do yourself a favour, listen to the negative reviews and avoid this place!

Horrible management. Read their responses to the reviews people have posted. If a complaint is made, they deny all responsibility and instead blame their guests! How they can grandly call this a hotel is beyone me, it's just a B & B. Truly nasty people.

Everything is good and breakfast is spectacular our rooms were 416 and 409 very nice people and staff but they want money for everything like kids under 7 only can eat breakfast free not under 12 do this is not good so I would like to say this ....

I gave 5 stars on my last review it only came up as 3.The owner David is one of the nicest person .Rooms excellent. Breakfast 5 star.I cannot fault anything.The owner David made our weekend extra special would definitely come back again.Nothing bad to say all 5 star from me
