This was our last stop on our way back to the ferry home. It was a very pleasant last night. The room was very strange but fun and comfortable and with lots of little extras Including champagne.. We were offered huge comfy bathrobes and slippers and led out to the warm open air pool/jacuzzi /spa where we relaxed and took in the lovely views of the Somme valley. The meal was full of interest and variety, giving a taste of local flavours and we chose the wine pairings to go with it. Breakfast was home made traditional breads cheeses charcuteries and preserves. Service was slightly functional but we would not hesitate to stay again.

Follow the tiny signs for Le Satimbanque from the main road. They then magically disappear - leaving just a big sign for Auberge du Moulin and a windmill. That's the place. We went for the 40Euro 3 course meal - which was magnificent. Plus a amuse bouche. Not large servings - but absolutely packed with delicious flavours, especially the mushroom soup (a tiny serving but with so much intense flavour). The paired wines were lovely - but if you wanted slightly more quantity you might be better off buying one of the (cheaper) wines. Bespoke cooking in small batches - our meals were different to the neighbouring table. Having a confident french speaker in your party would be an advantage - we struggled a little bit with some of the translations and the (very helpful and nice) staff tried to explain (but their English was as bad as our French!) Highly recommended

Tout est parfait : l’accueil, le cadre et les plats. On a une vue panoramique de la campagne, l’intérieur est sobre mais sympathique et les plats… c’est trop bon, comme disent les enfants ! Le menu surprise est une super surprise, excellente idée ! Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. A bientôt !

Excellent accueil, restaurant surplombant la vallée de la Somme avec son superbe moulin. Excellents plats très bien présentes par un personnel ayant une très bonne connaissance des produits. Très bon accord des vins qui subliment les plats Un p'tit bémol, lorsque le chef fait le tour des tables il ne doit pas en oublier une, cela nous aurait fait plaisir !

Exceptionnel ! Resto gastronomique avec des produits de notre belle région. Tout es fait maison jusqu’àu beurre, le sirop …etc Un accueil chaleureux , les explications des plats le chef qui sert et qui discute avec les clients …. Un endroit incroyable……

Cette auberge a un charme irrésistible et voisine avec un vrai moulin à vent. La chambre est joliment décorée, la vue sur la vallée imprenable. Sous le toit, le confort et les installations conditionnés par la géographie des lieux. En revanche, les attentions qui sont proposées sont dignes d'un 5 étoiles : bouteille de champagne offerte, sachets de chips pour l'accompagner, sachet de farine et autres petits cadeaux à emporter. Petit déjeuner de très belle qualité et diversité.

Une magnifique découverte, beaucoup d’originalités dans les assiettes, que des produits frais, tout est excellent avec des produits de saison. Une vue à 360 depuis la salle de restauration. Un chef très sympathique et qui sait mettre en valeur sa région. En plus un excellent rapport qualité prix. Ce restaurant mériterait vraiment 1 étoile.

Quel belle découverte, une carte pleine de mystères, 2 menus avec 4 ou 5 plats. Nous avons pris les 5 plats pour avoir une surprise de plus. Même les boissons étaient surprenantes, pétillant de rhubarbe ou frenette à base de fleurs de frêne. Tous les plats sont finement préparés avec des produits locaux remarquables, de la mise en bouche aux desserts. Un service irréprochable. Un chef aux petits soins vraiment sympathique qui est même venu à notre rencontre au milieu des champs car nous étions en galère avec nos vélos …

Nous avons testé le restaurant: FABULEUX! De l'accueil, au choix de la table, au service, en passant bien évidemment par les mises en bouche, l'entrée, le plat poisson , les plats viande, les desserts, les vins et le pain, tout était parfait et digne d'un restaurant étoilé!!! A faire et refaire. A offrir sans hésitation!
