Premier Inn St. Neots (Colmworth Park) Reviews

Pretty good, clean and convenient

The room was fine but the noise from the 'boy racers' driving around the adjacent retail park at night was awful. We were unable to sleep because of it and decided to give up and go home. We have stayed here previously but won't be foing so again.

You usually know what to expect at a Premier Inn. Cleanliness is a given - but sadly not at this hotel. The far side of the room hadn't been cleaned properly for months and there was rubbish under the chair from previous guests. There was no housekeeping over Christmas (was aware of this in advance). I booked it with a 'free breakfast' promotion from Premier Inn back in November and the hotel wasn't aware and didn't honour it. The room, if clean, would be adequate - but is tired with plug sockets not working by the desk and the toilet not flushing properly. I won't use this hotel again. I did raise the issues with reception but they are not allowed to accompany a guest to a room to check and had no authority to do anything except suggest I write to Premier Inn central complaints. Not heard back from them.

The smell of the reception area was like walking into a changing room that hasn’t been cleaned in years and was very clearly coming from the guy working the front desk. DISGUSTING!! I couldn’t wait to get out of there and definitely won’t be returning.

Room great as normal. Breakfast very poor due to kitchen problems. Shame really as we have been going to Premier inns for at least 25 years and this is the first time we have had to make a negative comment. I am sure they will be improving things in the future.

Staff helpful and pleasant. Restaurant food good with nice caring staff members. Room not very clean, some areas like corners, skirting board, edge of carpets etc appeared not to have been cleaned in a long time. Bathroom in need of refurb and a thorough clean, hairs and mould way too obvious.

Really good hotel, well placed for what we need, and, for a good variety of eating options as well as an excellent pub next door. The staff at this Premier Inn are all absolutely awesome, especially Sarah, Jack, Rachel and Kate on Reception, they make you feel valued and are so friendly and helpful too going above and beyond. The Housekeeping team are fabulous too, the rooms are always really clean.

Went you walk into premier inn colmworth park, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Nothing is ever to much. We checked in room 4. Lovely room. Clean and fresh. My only problem was the sheets were stained. Went back to reception and RICKY from housekeeping said he would change it. So he came and changed it straight away. Rachel was on duty that night She is polite and helpful. Jack this morning was amazing. So helpful, friendly. This premier inn is the BEST. Well done. You have the RIGHT TEAM HERE. Keep up all the high standards. If you need pointers on how premier inn is supposed to be run. Come here.

It was a comfortable room and I liked the bed. The hotel was easy to find, park at and check in and out of. The staff were nice and helpful, and the food was good at both dinner and breakfast. The price was a little higher than I was expecting but still affordable.

Room was very clean. Staff at front of house were all approachable, welcoming and friendly. Checking in was smooth and the bed was extremely comfortable, not like what you get in travelodge where you feel every spring in the mattress. Thank you very much to all the staff who helped make this week working away more comfortable. Take a bow, and I hope premier inn recognise the staff and reward them. Good staff are hard to come by, look after them, their keepers.

On Saturday morning, we went to pick up a friend that was staying here. We have stayed before and it has always been pleasant. However, we walked into the reception area and the smell of body odour was absolutely disgusting. The chap on the desk looked a bit worse for wear, heavy night perhaps? It seems that it’s gone down hill since our previous stay them which is most definitely an off put!! We hope to see improvements if we choose to stay in the future.

Your receptionist Sarah was very helpful and a credit to the company she couldn’t do enough for us. A very pleasant stay in St Neots. Definitely 5 star. Well done Sarah. Will be staying at more premier inns in the future. Hopefully will return to St Neots. Regards Sue & Phil

Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Great location. The highwayman bar and grill next door. If you just want a drink or a bit to eat. Easy for the A1 and A428. St Neots close enough. Place to wind down and relax. Oh and costa is arcoss the road if you want a decent coffee lol Well done

Noisy, as all carpets seem to have plastic underlay meaning they crunch when walked upon. WiFi in room useless as they probably want you to use a paid upgrade that is available. The safety chain on the door (room 20) was missing meaning that security was not as promised.
