We stayed here for 4 nights in their honeymoon tent - what an outstanding property! They arranged transfer from the MPQ airport, about a 2.5 hour drive. The property is outstanding! Excellent suites/tents with a spacious layout. The private sitting area outside the tent is great as well, with a splash pool, shower, and bathtub. Restaurant food was excellent, specially the ribs! Staff is super friendly, goes above and beyond what is expected of them. Spa is great as well, we got massages every day between the game drives. Now for the game drive experience - it is in some ways better than what you would get at Kruger or Sabi Sands, in the sense that it’s more organic. You’re actually tracking animals trying to sight them, as opposed to having trackers on the animals and rangers knowing exactly where they are at all times. Also, when you see wildlife, you can spend as much time viewing it, compared to Sabi where you need to be out within 10-15 minutes coz the vehicles behind you are coming in. However, the reserved just doesn’t have much wildlife. There’s a pride of 8 lions, we were fortunate to see them in several occasions. Handful of elephants, one cheetah, one leopard, limited hippos and giraffes. Absolutely no rhinos whatsoever. They did have 2 black rhinos a few years ago, but they unfortunately fell victim to poaching. So game viewing experience overall is pretty mediocre. But the landscape is better then Sabi or Kruger - more open, with mountains all around, making it a truly breathtaking experience. I would recommend doing 2 nights at Kruger or Sabi to get your game viewing fix, and combining it with 2 nights here so get a more natural game viewing experience. Too marks to the staff and rangers for providing an exceptional experience to guests. Jordan was our ranger - simply outstanding!
