The hotel owner is very nice and helpful. Since the hotel is not expensive, the lack of air conditioning is a big problem and the room was very hot during the day. It's 30 degrees in the house. I've got prickly heat. The island is cool after 9pm and there is no need for air conditioning. The hotel front desk reception service is available for airport pick-up, but the tour guide and car rental company introduced by the front desk clerk are twice as expensive as normal. A day tour guide costs 3,500 RMB, which is equivalent to 500 USD. It's outrageous. Later, I found another tour guide who only cost 160 USD. It is obvious that there are kickbacks among the front desk staff, so be careful not to be fooled. The same goes for car rental. The front desk staff contacted the car rental company for 90,000 pesos, and the hotel owner rented the car to me for 45,000 pesos. So creepy. For your reference. Don't be fooled by the front desk

Poeple is so kind and so supportive, but location is a little far away from Main Street and condition of facility is not so great.
Anyway, overall it is worth while staying here in this island.

We loved our week at Cabanas Henua Iti. Tiare, her family and staff are friendly, helpful and kind. The location is on the outskirts of town, but it's possible to walk down the hill and Tiare is there to help arrange a taxi if needed. Lots of things within hiking distance - for reasonably active people. We had booked some guided tours and we also rented a car from Tiare for a couple of days to explore on our own. Their rental cars are easily accessible and a good price. The breakfast included in our stay was delicious and we used the kitchen in our cabana as well. The place has a rustic feel and we enjoyed relaxing on the porch. Rapa Nui is a spectacular destination and the island is very safe and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was clean and within a 20min walk to the town area. The staff was helpful and very responsive via WhatsApp and transported us to/from the airport. We did not use any of the common space and did not have breakfast on site, but our kitchen in the cabin was well equipped for us to make our own meals.

Tiare is the perfect host, picked us up at the airport and gave us a quick tour of the town before taking us to the accommodation. The cabin is perfect for 2 people kitchen, bathroom, living area and 2 bedrooms with a small porch with seating area. It is quite a walk from the centre of Hanga Roa so if you don't like walking I would suggest a car/bike, we hired a care for 2 days form Tiare and it was perfect! Breakfast was fantastic as soon as we finished one day we could not wait to see what was for breakfast the next day! All staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and could not do enough to help. Dropped back off to the airport in perfect time for the flight back to Santiago. A great 4 night stay and would definitely come back!
