Crowne Plaza Perth Reviews

Cons: The TV doesn’t have Netflix or YouTube etc. There’s only one cartoon channel to keep the kids entertained. The bathtub area does not have shower head. Only a low-height tap so u need to walk over to the shower area to rinse the soap off. Pros: room is quiet even though we stay at level one. There r 2 washers and 2 dryers free for guests to use. The beds have wheels so I can easily roll one of the beds to be against the wall, since my toddler tends to fall off the bed when sleeping.

Very clean. Friendly staffs. Easy access to shops. Parking is very limited. Had to park on the streets, luckily its on public holidays xmas days and boxing days.

Spacious bathroom, corner windows with the sea view. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and quiet neighbourhood.

Very comfortable stay at this older but well kept hotel. Perfect location overlooking Swan River, easy walk to riverside & centre. Great service, very helpful staff, good sized rooms, cleaned daily, comfortable beds. Small but usable gym leading to sunny pool area, complimentary laundry. Altogether, great value.

While not dead centre of the CBD, the hotel is within an easy 5 minute walk of it. But, the hotel's location is right opposite the Swan River and has lots of free overnight parking right outside, now that's a real bonus! The rooms are larger than most 5 star hotels we've stayed in and they are very clean, with comfortable beds. The hotel staff are very attentive and the facilities (pool, restaurant and bar) are pretty good. My wife and I have stayed at almost all of the 4 and 5 star hotels in Perth and while the Crown Plaza is rated as a 4 star, it is now our hotel of choice due to its value for money when compared to all of its competitors. So, if you're savvy, you won't go wrong staying here!

The facilities are old, but everything else is good

There is nothing commendable except for the view from the window, the premise is to order a balcony room with a river view. We stayed for two nights and were very disappointed that the hotel is very old. There was an unpleasant musty smell as soon as we entered the lobby. The sanitation was not good. There were stains in the hallways and rooms. Towels were placed in the dusty air outlets. The air conditioner was very old and turned on and rumbled Noisy, indoor and outdoor chairs are stained. The elevator creaked like a freight elevator. The fish and chips for dinner was greasy and stale, the worst we have had in Western Australia, the breakfast was boring and some of the waiters were not very friendly. We stayed in three hotels in downtown Perth. It is hard to imagine how the price of Crown plaza is set? !
