Finding myself stranded due to flooding on Christmas Eve I contacted Pear Tree Farm as I was running out of hotel accommodation choices.SO glad I did.Tim and his lovely wife Beverely settled me into The Granary Room of a converted stable block.(All Covid safe).NOTHING was too much trouble for these two wonderful hosts.I felt safe and cosy during my enforced five days of being temporarily homeless. I would recommend anyone to stay here in this peaceful farming environment,horses,sheep and all. Thank you for everything,may you both have a healthy and prosperous New Year.

All the rooms I've stayed in over the number of weeks I've been working away have been clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and happy to help with anything. However, one member of staff called Les goes above and beyond his duties which is greatly appreciated. Les quickly noticed during my first stay that on a morning I have 3 heavy boxes containing work equipment that I have to take to take too and from work. Les took it upon himself to remember the time I leave for work so gets ready to open the doors in advance and helps me carry my boxes to my van. He is such a friendly man who obviously takes pride in his job and always puts the customers first. It’s my pleasure to have met all the staff but Les in particular. In my opinion Les should be the first in line for any promotions on offer at the travel lodge.

Always like staying at Thrapston travelodge on stopover between Nw and East anglia. Receptionist was very kind and friendly as always. I had a good night's sleep which was helpful as I had more driving the next day. It was a shame rhat the resident cat was no longer in the reception. The cat gave the place a unique feel which was different in a positive way.
