"We had multiple issues with our 7 nights stay. Which some has been addressed and fixed immediately. One thing we do recommend to confirm check upon arrival or when booking.
Lack of view - we’ve booked the 1 bedroom premium room. From the pictures it looked like floor to ceiling big windows with open view but we were assigned to a room situated in the heritage floors (2nd) which the windows are 1.5m high so have to tippy toes to see the view. Limited sunlight also, bathroom has no window.
Issues we encountered
1) hall way light - wasn’t working on the first night when we checked in at 11pm. We couldn’t even find our room number cause it was so dark, we used the torch on our phone. Wasn’t a nice first impression if you are scared of dark hallways. The sensor was fixed the next day.
2) phone wasn’t working - so we couldn’t contact the front desk. We got in late with a toddler, so we put on ‘do not disturb’ sign but someone banged the door at 8am, to reach us to ‘fix the issues’. Not sure why can’t they just slip us a note under the door.
3) so many flies - the breakfast restaurant have serious pest issues. There were more than 10 flies flying around the buffet and the tables. We didn’t feel comfortable eating there after one visit. The whole duration of the meal, we were waiving off the fly. Major hygiene concern!
4) housekeeping was very average, barely cleaned the room daily. Only made the bed.
5) overall the staff were all friendly, special appreciation to the male staff at the breakfast room. The lady duty manager didn’t seem friendly, carries an attitude and likes to talk over you.
Location is great, round the corner from the tram line.
Will I stay again, most likely not. Feels more like a 4 star hotel, definitely not 5 star."

"We stayed here for 2 nights to go to MCG and location could not be beaten. Over Xmas break so Hotel restaurant was closed but we could walk into the city to eat something. Bed was comfy , shower very small hard to move but all in all worked well for our trip. "
"Close to the concert venue, quiet and comfortable, spacious room, very satisfactory bed. The only downside is that the reception is only open until 5pm. I arrived at 5:30pm but the door was closed, which made me panic. Fortunately, I received a message telling me to use the password to open the mailbox and get the room key myself. In addition, the hotel does not provide meals and there are no restaurants nearby, which is a bit inconvenient."
"Highly cost-effective, 2 km from Melbourne city center, convenient transportation, the boss speaks Chinese and is very enthusiastic, the front desk guy provides good service, answers various questions enthusiastically and patiently, the boss said it's okay even if the child is a little noisy, recommended ~ Good service, complete surrounding facilities, convenient for eating and shopping, free parking"
"Next to the hotel is a park, where there are rugby and tennis courts, and further south is the National Botanical Gardens. The location is good. The hotel breakfast is a standard English breakfast, with not many varieties, but the taste is OK and exquisite. It is definitely not comparable to the dazzling breakfasts of domestic five-star hotels. It feels like a typical business hotel. The facilities in the room are generally good. One problem is that the air conditioner cannot be turned off, and the other problem is that the window cannot be opened for ventilation. The weather in Melbourne is very good, and it is very pleasant to open the window and breathe fresh air. The parking lot is 45 Australian dollars per night. This is my second time in Melbourne. I stayed here last time, and I stayed for 4 nights this time. The gym and the bar on the first floor are both good. It is relatively affordable among the five-star hotels in Melbourne. I will change next time."
"The room was very beautiful.
There is also an elevator.
Bed, table, chair, sofa
Coffee machine, refrigerator, stove, pot
Towels (large, small, scaffolding), soap, dryer (strong)
A dryer, an ironing board, an iron, a hanger.
The facilities were substantial.
The shower is a bit weak, but it's warm!
There was no bathtub (i _ i)
There is a tram and a big car street in front of me, so I can hear a little sound, but I didn't care at all!
There are seven nearby, and it was good to walk about 20 minutes from the big main station, and there was a little calm atmosphere in front of the park (there is a tram)!
Check out is difficult and the time when people are there is different.
It says you can leave your luggage, but it's difficult because you have to come back first when there are people.
When there is no staff, the door of the building is also locked and you can't enter without a room key.
I was acting with an international student who can speak English, so I was able to call a place like customer service and receive my luggage.
I don't know English by myself and I think I couldn't.
I wish I could receive my luggage a little more easily. (There is a staff dedicated to midnight)
It was a nice stay!
Thank you!"

"The location of this hotel is very good, very close to the city. It takes a 15-minute walk and two parks to reach Melbourne's free tram area. In addition, the room is clean and sanitary, and it has its own parking lot in the backyard, which is rare. ;The best thing is that the staff are polite and kind. Special thanks to the staff member Gary, who provided us with a lot of information and guidance about visiting here."
"No one has handled chaik-in for you at 5 pm. There is no SMS reminder for Ctrip. The store does not. Does all Chinese travelers know how to do it? This point is for Ctrip, the store's bad review, what is your use to register passenger calls? The door was too inconspicuous. Navigate here and park for a while."

Good
GGuest UserPretty good for a 3.5 star hotel.
Super clean.
Has everything you need.
Needs double glazing on the windows tho as the city is noisy overnight.
BBoyesExcellent location just a short walk from North Richmond train station. Very friendly and helpful reception. Apartment was spacious and in good condition with all the normal amenities, and excellent heating on what was one of Melbourne’s coldest nights for the year, although the living room furniture is getting a little old. The only negative was that the guests directly upstairs partied late and then got up very early, a problem because there’s almost no soundproofing between floors.
