Wyndham Lancaster Resort and Convention Center

Staff trying to rip me off Staff was trying to rip me off. We were 2 parents and 3 kids, ages 17 12 and one. When checking in the front desk ask me how many adults and how many kids. I asked her from what age is cconsidered adult she answered over 12( which was a big lie). My reservation by mistake was only 2 adults but online states it can acomodate 5. She kept me waiting and was trying to calculate and then she told me that I need to pay just a small amount of over $200 for the extra ppl!! I tried arguing but didnt get anywherethe i called up wyndam's main number and they told me she lied twice with the adult age which is above 18 and the charge for extra ppl. At the end i only paid an extra $36.

I was excited to stay here because of previous reviews and I had looked at this property before online. Check-in was easy and staff was kind and professional. I was disappointed though, first at the cleanliness of the room. It needed vacuuming. Cobwebs on the lamp. Dirt, crumbs and hair in the crease of the desk chair. Second, the outdoor pool was not heated, very cold water for late August and 80 degrees. Not enjoyable. Indoor pool needed paint and there was trash left on the pool floor. Third, Some areas are in disrepair. Balcony had crumbling surfaces, ripped wallpaper in the hallways, chipped door frames on exits. Fourth, housekeeping never came back when asked to come later. Request to front desk took an hour.

Frint desk staff clearly not trained. Had to ask that they clean my room after checking in due to dirty sink and fingerprints everywhere. Overall building lookwd old and not well kept. Half of the furanture is stained or showing wear. Not what I would expect for the Wyndam price tag.

The hotel is unkept. The wallpaper is falling down. Some areas are dirty. Someone asked me for mo ey going to my room. Fel

We (my husband our 4 year old son and myself) absolutely loved this hotel/ resort. ALL staff we encountered were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Our room was in pristine condition and all of the amenities were in great shape, easily accessible and not over crowded. We can't wait to come back!
