La Kupar Inn

The place is very calm. Hygenic, neat and clean hotel. John, the Manager has been very nice and very cooeprative towards service to the customers, very honest and knows the requirements of customers in his hotel. Always there to listen to their customers with smile and offering services. The kitchen was also very tidy. Breakfast was delicious, well served. The ladies who were working in kitchen were very sweet and humble. Meghalaya itself is very neat and clean and this La Kapur Inn HOtel is best to come. The room is was living got to get first look of sunrise from my bed itself, which was really mesmerizing. While stay here, good to get rain which was also very interesting and found so good and had silently found myself happy in rain outside . Here I found that people are so lovely and sweet to serve. Tea was too tasty which is really rare when you go on vacations, but I really enjoyed tea here.

The stay was pleasant and comfortable back by prompt service, access to amenities and a beautiful sprawling and picturesque property. Kudos to the team and wishing them success in the years ahead.

We booked this hotel directly by reaching out to John who runs and manage the hotel. And right from booking the hotel till the time we checked-out everyone in the staff including John were always there to helps with anything we want. So high Kudos to everyone who works at La Kupar which makes it a special place to stay. The rooms are spacious and will make you feel that you choose the right place to stay and even offers a balcony from where you can enjoy the greenery of Sohra. The hotel does provide Breakfast & Dinner at economical rates which is freshly prepared in their Kitchen but not lunch for which you can choose to go to Jiva resort which is equally good to spend some good time.

Very quite & picturesque location. Rooms average. Wi-fi very good. Food you need to order well in advance so they purchase raw materials from the market & cook accordingly. But food no good at all. Reception always empty. Unmanned. Need to ring the bell for any requirement.

It was nice stay at la kupar inn ,best thing is they have in house kitchen ,so they served us hot veg food in the dining area. The stay is very connected,spacious and Mr John the manager is so humble person . He arranged for us bon fire the very same day , very cooperative and friendly staff of la kupar in.

La Kupar Inn is located conveniently at Cherapunjee/ Sohra for visiting the key attractions in 'the wettest place on earth'. By its own admission, it is a simple and homely property. Good room size ***** with a balcony for viewing. Well sized and clean bathroom though the layout could have been better. Considering the area, do not have great expectations on the food. Limited spread for the (vegetarian for us) breakfast and dinner. Serviceable but could have been better. A word of praise for all the staff, who were prompt in attending to our routine requirements. Area (not the property alone) prone to power fluctuations/ cuts so dont entirely bank on wifi if you are the kind requiring continuous access. A few boisterous occupants got too loud in conversation on one of the evenings but the hotel staff managed to control things well and quickly - this is linked to the way the rooms and outdoors are laid out- we were allotted a room on the 1st floor though this applies for ground floor rooms too. Overall, a decent property to consider for a maximum stay of 2 nights.

Lovely stay. Very kind and helpful staff. It’s a quaint place with bonfire at night. Well maintained property. The staff is also very punctual with food timing and requests.

Superb place to stay if you are looking for accommodation in Sohra. Our First Interaction with John was really good and he was quite attentive to our queries and assures us a wonderful stay. Hotel Is spotlessly clean, Rooms are big and equipped with balcony, Bathrooms were clean , Spacious and Hot water was available 24Hrs. We asked for the Packed Breakfast during check out and Sandwiches was yummy. You can also try the Local cuisines here. Food served was hot and Freshly cooked. Heater was available and charged separately. Kudos to John and Team for wonderful hospitality. Recommended
