Hotels Near Eco Park in East Khasi Hills

Excellent accommodation bang opposite to a canyon in Sohra. Labana is around 4 kms from Nohkalikai falls(a must visit attraction). The outlook of Labana is deceptive. One may not get a great impression by the outlook, but once you get in , it is just amazing. The rooms are spacious. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). The room had 1 Queen bed and 1 single bed. Spotless linen, extra pillows, very nice and cozy comforters to keep us warm. The icing on the cake us that they have put in a lot of thought and have kept Havells room heater ***** with an emergency lamp (power does get tripped occasionally). The rooms are well ventilated but the views from our room was not great though. Coming to the bathroom. Absolutely clean, spic and span with 2 fresh towels, a large Jaguar electric geyser which heats up very hot water in 20 minutes and 3 people can take bath with 1 round of heating. 3 ply toilet roll is kept as well. Food and beverages: We had lemon tea, milk tea etc in the evening and they were good. Milk tea was 30, lemon tea was 20, big glass of milk 60. For dinner we ordered roti, mixed veg curry, plain dal and they were all very tasty and very reasonably priced. Roti was 30 a piece, plain dal was 60, Mixed veg curry was 120. You don't get curd here though. Fortunately they do not cook beef and pork here. We being vegetarians had to satisfy ourselves with the fact that they only cook chicken and fish. The room service is quick and the food is served hot. The staff are very polite and accommodative. I strongly recommend Labana. The restaurant walls are tiled uniquely and gives a very good look. The dining area is very clean and tidy. 1 ltr Bisleri water bottle is complimentary ***** with milk powder, instant coffee, tea and sugar powders.

I stay in Woodstock resort It was such a wonderful stay The services are very good Rooms are nicely maintained Clean room Food is yummy Staff are so polite and courteous Highly recommend must visit this place Lovely place surrounded by mountains And from restaurant the view is awesome You can have food with lovely view of paddy field and mountain Weather changes immediately Love the place

Orange Homestay is an excellent accommodation and is above Frank motors (Tata motors dealer). The rooms are spacious and very clean. The terrace is awesome as they have many flowering plants which are blooming. The food is also good but at times the wait time is more. The staff are very helpful and service oriented. They don't expect Tips. Very polite and well mannered. Breakfast options are limited but serving is generous and unlimited. There is only 1 chef and he arrives around 7 am. So the earliest you can expect the Breakfast is at 7:30 am. It would be either of Poori or Bhature or Aloo Paratha ***** with bread toast and bread sandwich. Whatever they cook is tasty. Coming to the drawbacks. 1) No lift. If you get room at 3rd floor then it will be difficult for elderly 2) The accommodation is on Laitmor/Mawblei main road which is always busy and very noisy. Sleeping in the night will be slightly difficult due to the vehicles making noise. 3) Very far away from Police bazaar. You need at least 1 hour by car to reach police bazaar though the distance is only 6 kms. Shillong traffic is pathetic. Taxi guys fleece you. It costed us 400 to come from Police Bazar to Orange homestay. There is no car parking as well at Police bazaar. So if you are keen to spend time on shopping then Orange homestay may not be the right place. We stayed in room 111 at 3rd floor and the room is massive in size. Very thoughtfully stocked with hot packs, geyser, Air conditioning which can also double up as heater, extra blankets etc.

Clean and comfortable stay. Rooms a modern with comfortable bedding and great showers. I slept like a baby! The gym has some cardio equipment and a solid set of dumbbells (and usually pretty quiet). If you go want a great workout, hit up Amarveer! He’ll put you through a great workout, he’s really knowledgeable and has great exercises to put variety in your session. Verdy, Mery, and Daphi at reception were wonderful and very helpful making sure we got the most out of our stay in Shillong.

Location is the best just in a bylane in police bazar stone throw distance from the market. Front desk was very cordial specially suffer they helped us through out our stay. Rooms were very small but very clean with clean toilet and necessary toilateries and warm water. Breakfast was awesome with options for pancakes puri bhagi lots of seasonal fruits juices and veg cutlets. Eggs. They have a small parking I would love to recommend it to anyone who loves a clean hotel near market

Their knowledge of the area and willingness to go the extra mile in accommodating my requests was greatly appreciated. check out and concierge service was perfect. Mr. PAVAN (Restaurent /F&b Manager) took out time to interact with me at length. He explained so many nuances and things going on behind scenes to make restaurants run smoothly and how each guest is different and their taste buds and preferences are unique and how his team handles each of them very carefully and with heart .His professionalism and genuine care for dining experience did not go unnoticed. Mr.RAJEEV was wonderful chef and human being and as I have very long list of intolerances, health condition they considered all of them and cooked special meals for me and taking care of my health during this solo travel. My further travel completely depended on this particular trip and they ensured it was absolutely perfect as I required. He even got me special food packed for flight . I could travel to Darjeeling, Shillong, delhi, gurgaon and currently at dehradun now .Thanks to your team boosting my confidence I congratulate Mr. JAMES ( Operations - Head) to put up such a wonderful young team and maintaining highest standards of hospitality and taking care of guests.His hospitality nature, one on one conversation and having breakfast with me and talking at length on various things is highly appreciated. He knows his job and gives attention to detail and willing to go extra mile to make guest feel special and at home. His knowledge, skills, professionalism and personal connect with take him to greater heights in hospitality industry for sure. The hotel should be a famous hotel in the local area! However, it is incomparable with the domestic 4 star hotel. The first hotel is relatively old, and the second hotel's supplies are relatively inferior. Only the staff are still pretty good, attitude is good, only live for one day, so in addition to feeling expensive, feeling worthwhile, the mood is not too bad! One night of transition, nothing to worry about!
