Food: The buffets and food quality received mixed reviews but were generally appreciated for variety, especially breakfast. Special dietary needs, including vegetarian options, were often accommodated.

The hotel is ideally situated at the foot of Sani pass for those who want to take a trip to Lesotho. The hotel is absolutely charming with magnificent views and even a hike to a beautiful waterfall. The rooms are decently clean and spacious. The staff is extremely friendly. I would recommend if you are in the region for a couple of nights

We were very impressed with the evening buffet dinner as well as the breakfast. The meals were well prepared by friendly and skilled staff. We enjoyed our mountain view room (booked by request), this was both spacious and clean with a king sized bed (also on request). We did NOT enjoy the fact that the second of two TV/DSTV remote controls did not work properly and the coffee, at breakfast, was way below standard, to be frank, awful stuff! Other than those two things, a highly recommended from us!

This hotel is perfectly located if you intend on going up Sani Pass. Hotel is clean with a lot of amenities and activities for families. Rooms are clean, Spacious and offer good views. The bathroom does require some sort of heating and my room (505) shower drain seemed to be clogged. So i had to shut off shower a few times. I did report to reception twice. Breakfast is really good with a lot of options.

Hotel is good but lacks in quality. The rooms are very spacious with excellent views of the mountains. There are lovely walks and hikes. Lots for the kids to do. The staff are quite helpful and friendly. Bathrooms are ok. Breakfast is good but dinner is quite disappointing. Food quality is not good. There is very little variety for vegetarians. We opted for the pool bar menu by the third night. When items were finished they were not replenished. The restaurant felt more like a canteen. Lacks ambiance. House keeping is very slow. Rooms get cleaned at 2 pm. Tea stations were not replenished. I had to ask for tea and they didn’t believe me when I told reception that my tea was not replenished. I think these are issues that can easily be fixed. Overall a good experience.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this modern, well kept resort with so much to do for the entire family. My kids loved the free morning pony rides as well as the planned activities at the kids club. The indoor swimming pool was perfect for little kids to swim in their own without an adult having to get into the pool and was quite warm in temperature. The hikes are amazing or if you are not a hiker (like my parents) you can just sit at the trout dam, walk on the suspension bridge or just find a spot to sit next to the river. Bingo nights, karaoke- just so much to do. And so close to the sa border at Sani Pass. The breakfasts were well layed out and a few changes every morning didn’t make it feel like we were having the same breakfast every morning. The kids loved the crumpets. We were so lucky to have stayed at the Mountain View, superior room (Thank you to management for making this possible). The views were incredible and the rooms were so spacious. We will definitely be back again! Thank you team Sani Pass hotel!

Beautiful hotel and stunning setting. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and well appointed and the staff friendly and accommodating. If you want to experience the Sani Pass I would definitely recommend this hotel. Lots to do at the hotel too.

This was one of the best stays we had for a long time. It was cold outside the hotel but inside there was a warm atmosphere created by people and wood fires. The food was to die for. The staff was polite and helpfull all the time during our stay. A well managed hotel. Excellent stuff keep it up.

An absolutely relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thanks to the team managed by Jacques. Special acknowledgement to Jordan, Loretta, Lebo, Nana and the Head chef, Pieter. It is not often that you experience such hospitality at all levels. The food was excellent and menus well thought out. Activities and events arranged by Jordan were fun (went the extra mile to make any event special). Suite 201 lived up to its old name " the honeymoon suite". The gas fire heater against the backdrop of the mountains set the scene to enjoy a good red wine.
