The location is perfect. Alternative parking was offered if needed, which it was not as we parked in the front of The George. The room was spacious (we were in number 10) with a sitting area and desk for those who require to do work ... the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was top notch ... we ordered Steak and Ale Pie, which was delicious and Fish and Chips (asked for them to leave off the fresh/mushy peas) ... the fish was enormous, fresh and very tasty ... the fries/chips were homemade. All in all, we would highly recommend The George.

Excellent Although I arrived late in the evening I had a warm welcome and check in. Great Yorkshire hospitality at its best, My room was very spacious for the night, a fantastic breakfast cooked to order the following morning. All the staff were both professional and courteous in their duties. A refreshing change from the usual chain hotels or city hotels. Highly recommend this place, and Easingwold is a beautiful small town.

Lovely hotel in a great location with great staff We booked a last minute stay over in this hotel and it was a great place to stay. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, the room was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay.
