Casa Del Mar Beach Resort

My parents have been owners for around 30 years,and coming here every now and then since I was 15. Having stayed in the high rise hotels area and recently in a well know in Oranjestad. Hands down I would choose this place first. Lovely family friendly resort- helpful, kind and friendly staff- home to one of the best beaches in the world. Perfect place to disconnect and enjoy quality - quiet… ish time- unless is happy hour! The rooms are spacious and serviced 5 times a week. A self catering option with local restaurants, so you can do what you feel in a flexible way. Like all hotels, any concerns and problems were tackled promptly..it really is home away from home! My parents own weeks in May but this year we booked April via their website. I also want to thank the housekeeping staff for being kind, sensitive and mindful when we asked for a exceptional request for our son with additional needs. It made a huge difference to us and will always be greatful. We are a well travelled family and for them is was their first time in Aruba and absolutely loved the hotel , felt comfortable, safe, relaxed and enjoy proper quality time with grandparents. I loved seeing so many people off their phones - reading and overall relaxing. The duty manager was incredibly helpful and responsive, with care and professionalism. Cannot wait to be back!

Thank you Casa Del Mar for a lovely stay! I did a lot of research before our trip and made a request for a completely renovated suite two months prior to our arrival. Nevertheless, they stated that there was no guarantee, as the hotel was still under construction on some suites closer to the beach side. We were happy to know that upon arrival that our request was granted and we even got a lovely view! I also requested for the twin beds to be joined as a king. That was also made possible! Generally, I would like to thank all of the staff for trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible upon request. The suite was very clean and modern. We had a perfect view of the ocean and pool from the from the fourth floor! However, inside the suite, the bedrooms would get hot every now and then and the main area would remain freezing cold. We complained 4 days before we left. However, the maintenance only came two hours on the day that we were checking out. It was never fixed. That was very disappointing and unacceptable. We loved the daily cleaning option. The housekeeping staff were very approachable and pleasant, as well as the bell boys. Matthew's restaurant meals and drinks were a little expensive, but some of the restaurant staff need to have a better attitude as they can come across unfriendly. We also liked the fact that complimentary coffee was avaliable in from 10am to 11 am in the business centre. Mancheno beach was stunning and footsteps away from eagle beach. GREAT LOCATION BUT ANNOYING NOISY CHILLERS PADDED FENCE NEEDED. VERY SIMPLE INEXPENSIVE SOLUTION OR REPLACE BY QUIETER ONES MORE EXPENSIVE

We had an incredible vacation at Casa del Mar. The accommodations were perfect. Both bathrooms are completely renovated. Huge beautiful walk in showers with built in bench seating, lots of towels, great lighting, and thoughtful accessories made our stay even more enjoyable. The vanity area in the primary bathroom was definitely designed with a woman in mind. Ample counter space, a comfortable seat, a lighted mirror, and a lighted magnifying mirror made getting ready a pleasure. The kitchen included a brand new Cuisinart coffee pot, filters, new utensils, and everything you would need for a dine-in meal. Housekeeping pampered us all week. We loved the location not only because of the beautiful beach but its proximity to Matthew’s Restaurant, Alhambra ******, Santos Coffee, and a brand new Taco and Tequila Bar El Patio.

My family recently stayed at Casa Del Mar during week 13. We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay. The two bedroom/two bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The bathrooms were both recently renovated. We loved the property. We spent most of our time at the beach. The water was beautiful and the white sand was remarkable. What a wonderful property to vacation at!

if you were looking for sun protection from the 35° scorching hot sun plan on getting up in the middle of the night, yes, you heard me right, to secure a spot under an umbrella. Initially we were getting up at 6 AM to try and get an umbrella, which is not what we want to do on our holiday, having the daily stress of getting up in the dark to try and find some shade for the day! But … after a run in with the security guard who watches the umbrellas he informed me that the members know the rules, we were actually a guest at the hotel, and that they get up between three and 4 o’clock in the morning and sleep under the umbrella to ensure that they reserve a lounger and shade. Wait what?!!!! Then, after staying until the required 7 am are they allowed to leave for no more than 2 hours. To return no later than 9 :am back to their spot. The pool area is the same. Sorry folks but this is a fight I am not having on my holiday!!!!!!! Nor do I want sunstroke so on the hunt for another RCI property without these ridiculous rules and that’s great they added “ 4 new umbrellas” this year. Big deal. And anyone with children beware if you need and want shade for the kids!!!! Unless of course you enjoy getting up in the middle of the night and sleeping on the beach u def the watchful eye of the security guard!!!
