One Night Stopover on Business. Lovely reception, friendly staff on check in Nice modern, super clean rooms, walk in shower and plenty space. Comfortable bed. Tea & Coffee, safe & mini fridge in room. Choice of two restaurants on site, Sushi Grill & Al A-carte. Fantastic dinner and service. Highly recommended.

Big modern rooms with high standard for a reasonable price. Sushi restaurant in the hotel with good food, big menu also here reasonable price, huge indoor seatings and also many alternatives in the garden. Breakfast ok but perhaps not the best, I have seen.

Have stayed 4 nights in this previous highway Motel. The owner is Chinese n renovated the Motel completely into a luxury classy hotel in the northern countryside of Highmoor Drenthe. Rooms are perfect airconditioned like in a supermarket cool. Ik love that so much. Nice interiored. Friendly accurate service. Breakfast is overprized 13€ which is in The Randstad at Van der Valk or NH hotels cheaper 8,50€. I was astonished there was no 24 hours roomservice or housekeeping or a bellboy for your luggage with a trolley but we are used to Majestic Barriere hotels in Cannes Film Festival, Grand Hyatt in Tokyo, Cairo or Jakarta and this is a provencial hotel not in Amsterdam so its okay. Still doubting to check in this hotel next time again or choose Van Der Valk hotel in Spier which is close to Hoogeveen (Highmoor) also. Thanks anyway for having us n treating us hospitable n friendly. Thank you so much Hotel Hoogeveen & Janine Blokzijl.

Voor 2 gasten uit Engeland een weekend arrangement incl sushi diner geboekt. Gasten lekker geslapen. Maar door omstandigheden buiten hun schuld waren de gasten pas na 12u ‘s nachts weer terug en konden zodoende geen gebruik maken van de sushi-voucher. Hotel zag geen mogelijkheid om iets te als een refund voor de niet genoten maaltijd of een hergebruik van de voucher op een ander moment. Geen valide reden aangegeven in mijn ogen. Beste, Vandaag was het dan zover dat we bij u zijn komen eten. Daar ik vandaag in Hoogeveen was hebben we voor u restaurant gekozen, denk dat ik zeker vaker terug kom. Voorgerecht dubbel getrokken runderbouillon, had meteen zoiets als dit de toon is van de rest dan ga ik zeker goed naar huis. Nou ik vind dit vaak erg zout maar dat viel 1000% mee Hoofdgerecht biefstuk. Wat me opviel het was geen plat geslagen stuk vlees maar een mooi stuk. Min puntje(maar daar had ik om moeten vragen) de saus, dat was iets te weinig. Hier overheerste de peper niet en daar scoor je bij mij punten mee. Nagerecht. Panna cotta. Daar kan ik alleen over zeggen wow de koffielikeur zeer goed gekozen Dank u wel voor het lekkere eten en we komen zeker terug

Mooie kamer, heerlijk groot bed met voldoende kussens en goed matras. Fijne stoelen en de badkamer is top met een heerlijke douche en groot ligbad. Ontbijt goed en voldoende. Restaurants zijn beide top.

Wij hadden een arrangement geboekt: 2 nachten met ontbijt en avondeten. Kamer beneden ruim, schoon en leuk ingericht. Ik denk niet zo lang geleden gerenoveerd. Koelkasten en koffie/thee op de kamer. Een avond sushi, dat was heerlijk. Andere avond 3 gangen menu en dat was een beetje standaard, weinig keus. Maar wij vonden het prima. Goede uitvalsmogelijkheid voor mooie fietstochten.

Verjaardagsfeestje gehouden met mijn familie en vrienden in het restaurant gedeelte. Super voor elkaar. Behulpzame en vriendelijke bediening, gezellige zaal en heerlijke hapjes. Al met al een zeer geslaagde avond. Aanrader !
