The stay in this hotel was a big surprise for my parents as well as for me and my husband. Until now I can still not believe with this price one can find such an almost flawless 'home away from home '. The surrounding of the hotel war breathtaking right in the Duyun expo garden located on the lakeside. The facilities inside were modern in super condition. The restaurants supplied authentic local food and breakfast was impressive with good varieties. Personals were friendly and helpful. We strongly recommend this wonderful hotel to other guests.

Love the view of this hotel from our room. Room is very spacious and the veranda great to relax in the evening to enjoy the breeze. The hotel is located within the Green Expo park which has seen better days, however there are many walkers around the lake in the morning or evening and you can hire an electric boat for an hour in the evening which was fun. Breakfast is in a sister hotel Yuntai up in the hill within the park, but you can fix a time to get shuttled to a great breakfast. Unfortunately this hotel seemed neglected especially the yard and pool, and most of the time the reception lounge is not attended. It was still a unique and relaxing experience.

The service is basically non-existent, and there was no contact in advance. After arriving, we were notified to check in at another hotel on the top of the mountain, and then we booked this homestay, which has different room types and is so far away that it's said to be a five or six minute drive. After checking in, we were told to go down the mountain to get the room card, but the lady at the foot of the mountain said she didn't know how to get it and that we had to wait for someone on the mountain to come down to make the card. The swimming pool was very dirty, and they said the water had been changed ten days ago. There was no reminder to swipe the parking card when we left, and we had to pay for it ourselves at the door. There were a few spiders in the room, and they soon made a very long web. It was very primitive, and there was no one in the lobby for a long time. The only thing is that the natural environment is good, otherwise I really don't recommend it!

Because of the rain, we switched from a lake-view room to a mountaintop room. The hotel is located within the scenic area, and we hadn't realized we'd driven up there. You can park at the foot of the mountain, and the hotel provides a shuttle. Since it's up there, we had to take the elevator and then transfer, which felt like a confidential transaction. 😂 The large balcony is perfect for washing and drying clothes if you're not in a hurry. My most satisfying stay in Duyun!!! It completely met my needs for a relaxing getaway. For those who love taking photos and taking in the sights, this was an ultimate sensory experience. Facilities: fully furnished, comfortable king-size bed, oversized projector, three indoor seating areas, a bathtub with a stunning lake view, and a balcony with a serene lake view. Most importantly, it was incredibly quiet! Dining options: First, you can eat out. Nanzhou International Airport is about four or five kilometers away, making it easy to drive or take a taxi. Second, you can order takeout and have it delivered directly to your room, which basically meets your dining needs. We booked breakfast, and a driver was arranged to pick us up at the Yuntai Hotel. Security: I can say it needs improvement. I didn't see any front desk or security staff. Only a cleaning lady came to hand over the room card and guide us in during check-in. (Obviously, after noon that day, when we moved our table and chairs to the balcony, a half-naked man came to ask about the room price. That night, I had a sleepover, imagining the escape scenario if someone broke in.) Overall, I was very satisfied! I had a spiritual SPA.
