This is a chain store similar to a B&B. This building is a century-old culturally protected building that has been renovated. It looks old on the outside but new on the inside. Not suitable for people who like to enjoy hotel services. You need to get your own keys when checking in at the hotel. Customer service speaks German, English and French. The hotel is clean and the location is great. There is a parking space at the door. As soon as you go out, across the road is the Rhine River Park. On the left is the Rhine TV Tower, Düssel's landmark building. Very suitable for couples to vacation.

I’ve stayed here for long periods twice, once during the pandemic and once in January 2023, Great location, however the place is outdated, very dusty and unclean in general. See images for how dirty the floor, curtains and bathroom are. There is a distinct musk smell that lingered through the room at all times and it very pungent when you first enter I could forgive this during the pandemic but not after the pandemic. The staff are hit and miss, some very friendly and some very rude. They also left a key in my door as as you can imaging I was surprised as it opened the door, and apparently this was my fault. They sometimes has a large dog in reception that growls and barks at you which is not the welcoming attribute you would expect from a”premium” establishment Parking is a nightmare with a roaring 3 tier small car only underground space. It’s clunky and takes a solid 5-10 min to get your car out All in all, it’s ok but not really worth the cost and with the unprofessionalism of some staff members my recommendation is to avoid

Wir haben ein Wochenende in Düsseldorf verbracht und nach einer Unterkunft abseits der gängigen Hotellandschaft gesucht. Das THE RED hat uns hier absolut überzeugt und unsere Erwartungen erfüllt! Wir haben gut geschlafen und die zentrale Lage am Rheinturm für uns genutzt, um essen zu gehen. Das Einchecken und Auschecken auch abseits der Rezeptionszeiten hat bestens geklappt und auch im Vorhinein wurden unsere Fragen per E-Mail umgehend beantwortet. Die Einrichtung der Apartments hat uns ebenfalls zugesagt und gut gefallen. Daher kurzum: Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt - wir kommen gerne wieder 😀

Schönes historisches Gebäude, innen hohe Decken und Kassettentüren für Altbauliebhaber. Stylisch eingerichtet und gepflegt. Gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile und bequeme Betten, Perfekt für einen Kurztrip ins Zentrum von Düsseldorf, direkt am Medienhafen und gegenüber des Landtags. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolles Gebäude, direkt am Fernsehturm. Abbildungen geschönt und toll inszeniert. Leider extrem schlechte Matratzen (man spürt die Metallspiralen im liegen!), billigstes Bettzeug, seltsamer stechender und übel riechender Geruch, der selbst beim lüften nicht verschwindet. Würde nicht noch einmal hier buchen.
