The breakfast is good, the location is central, but the price policy is interesting. They took good hotel money for 2 nights and put us in a tiny room. They fixed it the next day, thank you, but that fiasco was enough for us on the first night. The staff is friendly, especially the Far Eastern lady working in the kitchen, she is an atom ant friendly and cheerful. fixer. No. Nooooooooo. Just save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else. The whole building stinks of cigrarettes, the carpet is filthy to the point you won't want to walk barefoot in your room, everything is run-down and filthy, there are two channels on the TV, there is black mould in the shower and the plug sockets are coming off the walls. And when I came back to my room in the evening room keeping had left a key in the door. On the outside. On the plus side the sheets were clean so I guess... swings and roundabouts?? Nah. Nope. No. Just grim.

I was there repeatedly. Yes, as the previous speakers have said, the hotel is showing its age and could do with a renovation in some places. "Garni" category. But for me it didn't matter. The room was clean. Nice staff, adequate breakfast. You really don't need more in Düsseldorf. Booked online directly with the hotel, 69 euros (weekdays) for 2 people including breakfast, there is no second time in and around Düsseldorf. This hotel is definitely not for couch potatoes.
