Staff rude! Stupid rules! Staff very suspicious! Sign up in the room saying can't have own drinks in the room or you get charged! You want a nice place go to the empire staff lovely no ******* rules! Make you feel welcome. Also we'd paid for x2 nights bed and breakfast no breakfast as left at 7am no offer of light evening meal to compensate! Worst thing is they keep your passport behind the desk where anyone can take it was 20 passports or so waving them in her hand like they were piece of paper. Claudia Austria Scored 8.08.0 Reviewed: 7 September 2024 Hotel in front of the sea, rooftop pool and breakfast Great location, right in front of the beach - the parking situation is a little bit weird, we had to leave the key at the reception, as there is not enough parking space Rooms are rather small, but everything needed is there - the light in the room should be better. Superb place with very attentive manager and friendly staff who have worked together as a team for 5 years. - restaurant here was better than any place around - staff laugh and joke with you - nice pool if small and no sun bed hogging - rooms clean with great views -air con good - WiFi excellent - streaming services available for Netflix YouTube etc - taxi from airport very convenient and €30 - manager mixes with guests ensuring everything is okay We would have liked a feedback form for the little things. Note no food or drink allowed in room, which surprised us. Also be aware of cultural differences - we tried to be very respectful. This is not Spain. Great holiday and one of the best we have had.

We have stayed at Hotel Vila One Beach Hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for a week. We only have good things to say. Very nice staff who are always smiling and are happt. They help with everything from booking rental cars and taxis to arranging whatever you ask for when you are a guest at the hotel. Very spacious and nice rooms with good beds, large nice bathroom, minibar, large TV, mini safe, nice balcony with table, chairs and sun bed facing the sea. They have a restaurant at the roof were serve food and breakfast and everything was vere good. We want to thank the hotel manager and his staff for a very nice week! A lovely modern hotel right on the beach. Rooftop bar/restaurant and pool. Our room with balcony gave us a view along the coast. In the room there is a lovely bathroom with shower, a safe, sofa and good size bed. A kettle is provided on request. All the staff are extremely nice and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Receptionists Lela and Djana welcome you with a friendly smile, while the chef Erion creates amazing traditional and delicious dishes. Overseen by Manager Malo, we could not have asked for better. We will return to this beautiful hotel.

Our family loved our stay and with kids aged 6,8 & 10 the 5 person family suite was perfect. Wonderful location with seaside views on the promenade of Durres with lots of restaurants and playgrounds. The breakfast was delicious and generous and the staff can't do enough for you. It's recently renovated and the rooftop pool will be open from May. We all really enjoyed staying here.

This hotel is very over priced. Good reviews tempted me to book, however things can change very quickly, and it is no longer accurate innits description. I booked a panoramic sea view room... I expected a panoramic sea view. I got a side sea view. When i said i think yiu gave me the wrong room she argued with me, said thats the only room they have, and in her opinion it was panoramic. You cant argue when there is a wall interrupting the view. It was only 2 nights, and i didnt have time to fight as we had to meet family. Pool area is small. Met some lovely ladies from Norway who were also very disappointed, finding everything over priced and not as described. Drinks are a ridiculous price. I got a water from the bar downstairs, roof waiter took it and said you cant have anything you didnt buy from the roof bar. Ridiculous. Its the same building /company. Mini bar was more expensive than others ive stayed in Durrus. The bed was fine, it was clean, but breakfast was low quality ingredients, and late start time. 8am.... I walked over to get a juice at 7.50 and was barked at, its shut until 8. Our taxi was picking us up for a family event at 8. My only option was to buy a drink from the bar, 6 ft away from the free breakfast i had included in my room rate. Our taxi driver was lovely and waited 15 for us so we could eat something. Poor quality meat and cheese. Pastry was ok, but very limited choice. All in all, avoid, its €25 a night over priced compared to like for like quality in the area. Ive stayed in lots of hotels in the area, and this is very poor pretending to be high class.
