Whether in the bar or the restaurant or the front desk, all of the staff are friendly,efficient and helpful.   The food in the restaurant was great.   Hotel is in a great location. Right on the river with balconies facing it. It’s only a couple of blocks from the train station  and downtown Durango.  I do need to point out that the hotel is starting to show its age. Carpeting in the common areas needs to be replaced and the interior has the feel of something built some time ago. However, having said that, they are doing a good job with maintenance of the facility and most importantly, the hotel common areas and rooms were clean.

We had our 50th Anniversary party here. Could not have been better. The staff, Lucas Hess, anticipated our every need. Never had so many people complimenting on how great the food was. They kept the food hot and excellent.   The event room was beautiful. Highly recommend this for your event or just a night away.   Really made our 50th a special day!
