This hotel is in a residential area, very quiet, near the sea. You can smell the nice fragrance as soon as you walk in the door. The whole decoration is very classical and exquisite. You can see that the owner has put a lot of thought into it. The mattress and pillows here are very comfortable, and the spa bathtub is huge and very clean~

We loved our three night stay at Lanterns Retreat. Our room was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated and the bed really comfortable. The bathroom was large with a great shower. We had a microwave and fridge so we could make our own breakfast, sit at a small table or use the private outdoor area set in a lovely garden. You can easily walk to the beach and town is less than a kilometre away. A beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful....loved our stay there! Very comfortable clean and cozy! Very quiet everything we needed and Serge is a great host. Ideal getaway and hopefully we will be back soon. Lots to see and do nearby. Very comfortable bed and pillows which was greatly appreciated.

Excellent location, lovely hosts and superb room with balcony - a total chilling stay walking distance to a beautiful, safe beach and close to a golf course where one evening we counted 60 (yes 60!) large, small, old and young kangaroos feeding. Very near to other locations worth visiting- ask Serge for advice. Many, many thanks and when next we come back to W.Aus, we will be booking once we have confirmed dates. Many, many thanks! Lanterns retreat is lovely! Located near the town centre of Dunsborough, and within walking distance to the beach. We stayed 2 nights in a beautiful spacious room at the lodge. Comfy bed, bar fridge, wifi and a spacious bathroom with a bath. Very clean! Serge is a great guy, and has created a very welcoming vibe.

The Lanterns Retreat is like a home away from home. Room was very comfortable and the welcome package in the fridge was gratefully received. Communication was very easy and access to property a breeze. I could not fault the property at all. Stay here when you go to Dunsborough!

We were very happy with our stay there, we will certainly stay again when we are in that area, very comfortable Bed, lovely outlook from our room. walking distance from the shops, plenty of nice places to eat. Also very nice forest walks near by if you like to go for walk.

We loved our stay! Lanterns Retreat is very conveniently located in Dunsborough, half way between Dunsborough and Old Dunsborough in a quiet spot. The room was very comfortable and spacious, the aircon and pool were appreciated over a hot weekend. Will definitely visit again.

Lanterns Retreat was exactly what we were looking for. The house is beautiful and our room was very large and quiet. Serge was very helpful and the location was great as we could easily walk into the town centre. Having our own parking spot off the street was really helpful as well.
