A lovely hotel near the Crescent Spring and Mingsha Dunes. Not too far from the tourist centre for the Mogao Caves. The hotel's design is very aesthetically pleasing and fits into the overall 'vibe' of Dunhuang. The amenities are very nice, from the standard towels and vanity kits in the rooms, to the fridge of cold drinks on sale in the lobby, which are very convenient to cope with the Dunhuang heat. The staff are also exceptionally friendly. Overall, a fantastic hotel that is definitely worth staying in when visiting Dunhuang.

I’d definitely stay here again. Loved the roof terrace with view of the desert dunes, the orchard with trees full of apricots for picking, and supply of fresh fruit.
And watching the camels trot by every morning evening!

It was a great experience! Nice and a romántic hotel that you can star Gazing on the rooftop! Don’t miss the camel crew parading down the street while you are eating your breakfast or dinner on the street! The humidifier was a pulse! Will definitely come back again!

Staying near Mingsha Mountain is very convenient. I spent a long time choosing and decided on this one. Don't drive to the scenic area during peak season. The walk from the parking lot to the scenic area is farther than from the hotel. I'm not sure about the off-season, but overall it's quite good. The room was spacious enough, and the hostess was very welcoming, polite, and gentle. The restaurant also provided free fruit and drinks, which was great. The surrounding restaurants are a bit pricey, which is understandable, but some were quite rude and aggressive (the more expensive, the more aggressive). It felt like they were desperate for a one-time business. It might be better to choose a restaurant with more people. I usually order takeout. There's a good local breakfast place.

The B&B is a few hundred meters away from the middle gate of Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake. If it is hot in the afternoon, you can take a tricycle to the scenic area. If it is cooler at night, you can walk back slowly, which takes about ten minutes.

The sand view room with a bathtub and a view is really nice. If you're staying at this hotel, I recommend the more expensive room. It's a much better experience, very spacious and clean, with a great large bathtub, and a comfortable sleep. The receptionist was especially nice and patient. The free fruit and ice at the front desk were a real plus. A word of caution: avoid the restaurant called Shanjian Shiyi down the street; it's expensive and the food is terrible!

This is a fantastic B&B in Dunhuang. The rooms are clean and tidy, and it's very close to Mingsha Mountain, with a view from the rooftop! The owners are two beautiful ladies, gentle, warm, and thoughtful. They prepared lots of fresh and delicious fruit for us! It's really great, highly recommended!
