Good place to stay with your family, although it is outside of the main city center but the owner gives a ride every time you want to go out, no matter the distance, just pay before you leave. Excellent.

Family was super friendly, gave us snacks and water. Located 7 minutes by car from the Dunhuang train station and also very close to the Mogao Grottoes. About a 15 minute drive to downtown Dunhuang.

Extraordinary host. Picked us up at the trainstation, drove us to the Nightmarket and back and organized us breakfast. Very recommendable! The location is somewhat out of the city center, but with the helpful host not a problem.

We enjoyed staying at the Serenity Inn, a small family-run hotel near the Mogoa Caves. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hospitality of the family is kind and they made sure we had a nice stay in Dunhuang.

This time I drove from Baiyin to Dunhuang on May Day and chose to stay at Ningjing Inn. The boss is a young man born in the 1990s. He is very hardworking and responsive to guests. He drove to the station and airport and took them to the scenic spots. His mother cooked breakfast and fried dishes for the guests, which tasted very much like the homely Dunhuang style. The room was clean, tidy, spacious and bright, the service was very good, and the stay was very comfortable. I will choose this hotel again next time I come to Dunhuang.
