Dunhuang Xingzi Hotel (Shazhou Night Market)

The front desk staff are very kind and courteous. The bedding in the room is also good. It has its own parking lot and a night market nearby. It is convenient for eating and shopping. The only drawback is that the room is too small. There is only one chair and a small desk. Place to put things.

I'm so glad I chose Xingzi Hotel when traveling to Dunhuang. The service surprised me in every way! I was a little reluctant to leave the hotel! The hotel is located in the center of Dunhuang, near the Flying Pipa Sculpture. It takes about four minutes to walk to the Shazhou Night Market, and less than two kilometers to the Dunhuang Museum and Dunhuang Bookstore. It only takes 5 yuan to take a taxi. There is a breakfast shop diagonally across the alley when you go out. You can eat something different every day. The meat wonton stew is highly recommended. There are Xiajia He Juice and Huyang Braised Cake Shop nearby, which are delicious and large in quantity. I go to the Shazhou Night Market almost every day. The Mobei grilled fish, beef hand pilaf, stir-fried golden potatoes, beef cakes with scallions and apricot skin tea in Shazhou Food Station are all delicious. The hotel service is super good. I called one day in advance to ask about the check-in time. Due to the flight delay, I didn't know if I could check in that night. I called the airport to ask what to do if I arrived late or couldn't arrive on the same day. The front desk patiently answered my questions. Two cups of yogurt are given when you check in. You need a hanger to dry your clothes and an iron to iron your clothes. You call the front desk and a waiter will arrive soon. After waiting for the chartered car in the lobby for a few minutes, the front desk immediately brought two cups of jasmine tea to look at us. Take your luggage and open the door for us. This is how you feel at home!

The hotel is in an excellent location, no more than 5 minutes' walk from Shazhou Night Market. It has its own parking lot, which is very convenient. The room is clean and tidy, not large in space and fully equipped. The only drawback is that the room is not soundproof. It is probably an old house renovated. The receptionist at the front desk was warm and considerate and provided welcome yogurt. The hotel does not provide breakfast, but it will introduce guests to places to eat, which is more convenient.

There are no obvious signs in the parking lot. We found it after calling the hotel. The manager even picked us up in the parking lot. The service was very good.

It is very convenient to take a taxi and eat around the hotel. The facilities are novel and clean. The front desk service is [highly] recommended.

The location is good, but the room is very small and the sound insulation is also very poor. At 8 o'clock in the morning, the cleaning lady started yelling in the corridor, followed by the sound of the vacuum cleaner. The bath towel in the room was so dark that I couldn't bear to look at it. It was very broken and the price was very high. I don't know why such a small hotel has such a high rating. Thanks to only staying in Dunhuang for two days, it was a helpless experience.
