I was hesitant to book due to the high price but it was definitely worth it! The environment is perfect (just like the photos) and the staff were incredibly attentive. They even drove us to crescent lake and gave us beer and drinks in addition to the free dinner.

Amazon experience. All the staff were perfect and kind with us. Only one tip: there is an amazing swimming pool that we discovered by chance, it could have been better if they shown us from the beginning of our stay.

Great atmosphere. The tent/bedding was much cleaner than expected despite being in the middle of desert . The heater works well. The owner took his time to take great care of us (noted that we didn’t go during high-season); very service-minded. He took us to/from airports and different tourist spots. Also provided us with many additional activities (not excluded in the initial program of camel riding) such as ATV riding, sand hill sliding, firework. The hotpot/grill dinner was delicious! The hotel staff were all young and very friendly. One woman, Kyu, was especially helpful, speaking Japanese and picking us up in her car. It appears there are several English speakers among the staff. The hotel is located right next to the sand dunes. The property is spacious, and even includes a small convenience store. The hot pot dinner, featuring mutton, was delicious. As is common in tourist destinations in China, the property was bustling until midnight. I tried to get to this hotel by taxi, but I was unable to find it, which was quite frustrating. I showed the taxi driver my Trip.com hotel reservation information in Chinese, but he got lost far from the hotel. Apparently, the taxi driver's smartphone app does not provide the correct location. Google Maps also does not provide the correct location. However, I've just discovered that searching for "Windy Sabae Yeshe Liquor Store" in Chinese or Japanese on the Baidu Maps or DiDi Taxi apps will help you find the correct location. First of all, when checking the hotel reservation information on Trip.com, the address information appears to be incomplete. The hotel name itself is also different from the aforementioned "Windy Desert Hotel." We have requested Trip.com to check the hotel's name and address information and correct it if necessary. It is recommended that guests from outside China contact hotel staff in advance by email in English or Japanese to discuss transportation options.
