Very well located in the centre of Dunhuang city, clean, western style toilets (female 4 beds room) and very friendly and helpful owner
No English spoken but the owner is using a very good software for translations, so easy communication
Adding pic of entrance door to the building as it might not be obvious to foreigners (the hostel is on the first floor)

The hostel is within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. It’s about 15’ by taxi to Mingsha Shan and 30’ or less to Mogao Grottoes. From train station, it’s about 30rmb or 6rmb ride by public bus, although i wouldnt know how close the bus stop is to hostel. Anyone with a big suitcase, please be aware that the hostel is located on the second floor.

The hostel is very good! There are lots of restaurants nearby and the bus station to reach the sights of the city is also close. The host is very very friendly and gave us some recommendations for transport and food. He even gave us some melon and another fruit to eat while checking in and after we woke up. We could leave our bags in a locked room after check-out while still exploring the city.

Decent clean hostel well located in the middle of town that is suitable for foreigners.
Staff were very helpful providing information about the city.
On the downside the bed was incredibly hard - it is only a thin mat on top of wood. I could not even lie on my side because it was so hard and too uncomfortable.

An excellent hostel by international standard. Clean, spacious and located close to restaurants, the night market with easy access to public transport to tourist attractions. The owner is super friendly and extremely helpful in assisting with my queries, so was the cleaner. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting DunHuang.

Nice and clean hostel with a amazing host.
Beds bit hard for my taste. Very centric location, don't miss the fountain show at 8:30pm
