Hotel tariff rates in Dunhuang are generally low compared to those in cities further East. A traveller can enjoy staying in a room of a high standard for a very inexpensive cost.
Within that context Bowen Hotel is rated as one of the best four star hotels in Dunhuang, and for good reason. From the level of easy to reach light controls, to the quality of furnishings, the bathroom layout, the bath towels and floor mat, toiletries, the breakfast restaurant, laundry and gym. Not to mention the electric powered curtain! I always look forward coming to Dunhuang in far West Gansu. And staying at Bowen enhances the experience even more.

The location is not in the very center, but Dunhuang itself is not very big. The room facilities are a little old, but the hotel staff, from the lobby manager to the front desk and cleaning staff, are very warm and polite.
